CALEFFI 127 Series FlowCal Compact Automatic Balancing Valve
Product Information
The CALEFFI FlowCalTM Compact Automatic Balancing Valve is designed to maintain a constant fixed flow rate within varying system differential pressure ranges. It is part of the 127 series and features an exclusive, interchangeable flow cartridge made of anti-scale, low-noise polymer. The valve body is made of compact low-lead brass, making it suitable for use in cooling, heating, and domestic water systems.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the valve is installed in the correct orientation according to the flow direction indicated on the valve body.
- Before installation, thoroughly flush the system to remove any debris or dirt that may affect the valve’s performance.
- Select the appropriate valve size (1/2, 3/4, or 1 inch) based on your system requirements.
- Connect the valve to the system piping using suitable fittings and ensure a secure and leak-free connection.
- Once installed, adjust the valve by turning the adjustment knob to achieve the desired flow rate. The flow rate can be monitored using a flow meter or by measuring the time it takes to fill a known volume of water.
- If necessary, fine-tune the flow rate by making small adjustments to the adjustment knob until the desired flow rate is achieved.
- Regularly inspect the valve for any signs of leakage or damage and address any issues immediately.
- Refer to the product manual for any additional maintenance or troubleshooting instructions.
