MARS side open low profile disconnect box is compact while providing easy access to the connection points. The finger safe pullout section prevents accidental contact with the live circuit. The lugs are rated for multi- conductors and are approved for use with surge protection devices.

MARS A/C Disconnect/GFCI Receptacle Combination

MARS A/C Disconnect/ GFCI Receptacle Combination disconnects provide a convenient low cost means to satisfy NEC Article 210.63 requirements for HVAC/R Equipment Outlets and Article 406.8(B)(1) for Receptacle – Wet Locations. The NEMA 3R design insures a safe, weather tight installation for residential, light commercial and even some industrial applications.

MARS Side Open Pullout Disconnect w/GFCI Receptacle

The MARS Side Open Disconnect w/GFCI Receptacle provides a convenient low cost means to satisfy NEC 2003 code changes requiring that a GFCI receptacle with a “while in use” cover be within a 25ft line of sight of the condenser unit. The pre-wired receptacle with stripped wire ends makes installation of disconnect and receptacle quick and easy. This unit provides a significantly lower “installed cost” to the contractor when compared to installing a standard disconnect and separate GFCI receptacle with “while in use” cover to comply with the new NEC code change.
