Product Information

The SWS TH4100 is a wireless sensor designed to measure temperature and humidity. It is equipped with an LED light, a battery compartment, a hanging hole, a channel shift button, and a rope hanging hole. The sensor operates on a frequency of 433.92 MHz and has a transmission range of approximately 50 meters in an open area. It requires 2 AA batteries for power.

Function
The SWS TH4100 wireless sensor has a low battery indicator that sends a signal to the main unit when the battery is running low. It is recommended to use alkaline dry batteries instead of rechargeable batteries.

Precautions

  • Do not clean any part of the product with benzene, thinner, or other solvent chemicals. When necessary, clean it with a soft cloth.
  • Dispose of packaging material at a public waste disposal site.
  • The product should not be treated as household waste when disposing of used electrical and electronic appliances.
  • For disposal information in the European Union, request necessary information from your seller or supplier.
  • For disposal information in countries outside the European Union, request necessary information from local government departments or your seller.

Product Usage Instructions

Power On or Reset

  1. Before powering on, push the channel shift button to choose the desired channel. If there is only one channel, it is recommended to stay on channel 1.
  2. After powering on, the sensor will immediately detect temperature and humidity data. The red LED light will flash, indicating that it is sending out a signal.

433.92 MHz Reception Check
The main unit should receive the temperature data within 3 minutes after setup. The transmission cycle for each channel is as follows

  • Channel 1 : 114 seconds
  • Channel 2 : 134 seconds
  • Channel 3 : 158 seconds

If the temperature data is not received within 3 minutes, please check the following

  1. Ensure that the distance between the main unit and transmitter is at least 5-6.5 feet (1.5-2 meters) away from any interfering sources such as computer monitors or TV sets.
  2. Avoid positioning the thermometer onto or in the immediate proximity of metal window frames.
  3. Avoid using other electrical products such as headphones or speakers operating on the same signal frequency.
  4. Interference from neighboring electrical devices operating on the same signal frequency can also cause issues.

Position Method
The sensor can be placed in the following ways

  • Put it on a flat area directly.
  • Hang it on the wall using the hanging hole and a nail.
  • Hang it with a rope using the rope hanging hole.

LOW BATTERY INDICATOR
The sensor will send signal to main unit.
We recommend to use alkaline dry battery, instead of rechargeable batteries.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION
Before power on, please push the channel shift to chose the channel you desire. If only 1 channel, we recommend you to stay channel 1.

POWER ON OR RESET
After Power on, the sensor will detect temperature and humidity data immediately, then the red led light will flash,and sending out signal.

433,92 MHZ RECEPTION CHECK
The transmission range is about 50 meters from the transmitter to the thermometer (in open area). The main unit should receive the temperature data with 3 minutes after set-up.

  • Transmitting cycle : CH1: 114S, CH2: 134S, CH3: 158S

If the temperature data is not received 3 minutes after setting up, please check

  1. The distance of main unit and transmitter should be at least 5~6.5 feet (1.5~2 meters) away from any interfering sources such as computer monitors or TV sets.

POSITION METHOD
The sensor can be placed in bellow 3 ways.

  • Put on flat area directly
  • Hang on wall by hanging hole with a nail.
  • Hang with a rope with Rope hanging hole

PRECAUTIONS

  • Do not clean any part of the product with benzene, thinner or other solvent chemicals. When necessary, clean it with a soft cloth.
  • Never immerse the product in water. This will damage the product.
  • Do not subject the product to extreme force, shock, or fluctuations in temperature or humidity.
  • Do not tamper with the internal components.
  • Do not mix new and old batteries or batteries of different types.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable batteries with this product.
  • Remove the batteries if storing this product for a long period of time.
  • Do not dispose of this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary.

Dispose of packaging material at a public waste disposal site.

Warranty conditions

Warranty card is not a part of the device packaging.

This product is warranted for the period of 24 months from the date of purchase to the end-user. Warranty is limited to the following conditions. Warranty is referred only to the customer goods using for common domestic use. The claim for service can be applied either at dealer’s shop where the product was bought, or at below mentioned authorized service shops. The end-user is obligated to set up a claim immediately when the defects appeared but only till the end of warranty period. The end user is obligated to cooperate to certify the claiming defects. Only completed and clean (according to hygienic standards) product will be accepted. In case of eligible warranty claim the warranty period will be prolonged by the period from the date of claim application till the date of taking over the product by end-user, or the date the end-user is obligated to take it over. To obtain the service under this warranty, end-user is obligated to certify his claim with duly completed following documents receipt, certificate of warranty, certificate of installation.

This warranty is void especially if apply as follows

  • Defects which were put on sale.
  • Wear-out or damage caused by common use.
  • The product was damaged by unprofessional or wrong installation, used in contrary to the applicable instruction manual, used in contrary to legal enactment and common process of use or used for another purpose which has been designed for.
  • The product was damaged by uncared-for or insufficient maintenance.
  • The product was damaged by dirt, accident of force majeure (natural disaster, fire, and flood).
  • Defects on functionality caused by low duality of signal, electromagnetic field interference etc.
  • The product was mechanically damaged (e.g. broken button, fall).
  • Damage caused by use of unsuitable media, fillings, expendable supplies (batteries) or by unsuitable working conditions (e.g. high temperatures, high humidity, quakes).
  • Repair, modification or other failure action to the product by unauthorized person.
  • End-user did not prove enough his right to claim (time and place of purchase).
  • Data on presented documents differs from data on products.
  • Cases when the claiming product cannot be indentified according to the presented documents (e.g. the serial number or the warranty seal has been damaged).
