To set up your product, download the Bang & Olufsen App from the Google Play
Store or Apple App Store.
From this app you can set up and get the most out of your Beoremote Halo.
When you first start the Bang & Olufsen App, you will be asked to create a user account.
To set up your Beoremote Halo, click to add a new product. If you already have an account this can be found under settings.

Follow the steps in the app to set up WiFi on your Beoremote Halo and update the software.
Once this is finished, your Beoremote Halo is set up and ready to use.
Daily use of Beoremote Halo
Learn how to use your Beoremote Halo for daily operation.
The display of your Beoremote Halo will light up when you approach it due to the built-in proximity sensors.
Use the touch screen to control music on your connected devices.
Simply tap to play and pause the music. Use the arrows to change between next andprevious tracks or radio stations.
Turn the aluminium ring to control volume.
The last used speaker is always displayed when approaching Beoremote Halo.
You can change the speaker you want to control by tapping the speaker name at the top of the screen. This will bring you to a list of all connected speakers. The list scrolls horizontally
You can easily select sources built-in to your connected Bang & Olufsen speakers and play your favourite radio stations by swiping down on the display. The source list will slide down into view.
Adding new products
Use the Bang & Olufsen App to add or remove products to control with your
Beoremote Halo.
The products need to be set up in the Bang & Olufsen App as well.
In the Bang & Olufsen App, select your Beoremote Halo to see the products connected to your account. Here you can easily add them to the list of products which can be controlled by your Beoremote Halo.
Favourites
You can quickly access your preferred listening experiences using favourites.
Find the four favourite buttons by swiping up on the display of your Beoremote Halo.
To play a saved favourite, simply press the button.
To save a favourite, long press on your chosen favourite and the current listening experience will be saved to it.
Please note that for voice enabled speakers, favourites can only be saved
locally on the speaker.
Sources
By swiping down on the display you can easily change between the sources
built into your connected products, such as Deezer, TuneIn or products
connected through Line-In.
Here, you also have the option to join in on a listening experience already
playing from a speaker set up in your network

How to access settings
Access the settings of your Beoremote Halo by selecting Beoremote Halo in the
product menu.
Get to the product menu by tapping the speaker name at the top of the screen, which will bring you to a list of all connected products. The list scrolls horizontally.
Here you can control the brightness of the screen.
Factory reset
You can reset your Beoremote Halo to factory settings by long pressing the
small button found under the front cover.
After approximately 10 seconds a notification will appear on the screen before it fades out.
Now the Beoremote Halo is ready for first-time setup again.
