Important Safety Instructions

  • Pump must be installed by a licensed electrician or qualified spa technician.
  • Installation should be done in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes & ordinances.
  • Improper installation can result in electrical hazards, shock, injury, or property damage.
  • Pump must be connected to a grounded circuit and protected by a Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).

Pump Wiring

2-Speed Setup

  1. Turn off power before working on any electrical connections.
  2. Confirm pump circuit voltage matches the pump (220-240V).
  3. Connect the supply Black Wire to Terminal L (low speed).
  4. Connect the supply White Wire to Terminal C.
  5. Connect the supply Red Wire to Terminal H (high speed).
  6. Connect the supply Green/Ground Wire with the Ground Screw.
  7. Note: Some spas may use Red Wire for Low Speed and Black Wire for High Speed. In such cases, swap Red and Black wire terminal positions for correct high & low-speed control operation.

1-Speed Setup

  1. Turn off power before working on any electrical connections.
  2. Confirm pump circuit voltage matches the pump (220-240V).
  3. Connect the supply White Wire to Terminal C.
  4. Connect the supply Black Wire to Terminal H.
  5. Connect the supply Green/Ground Wire with the Ground Screw.

Installation Tips

  1. Replace failing gasket seals or broken unions.
  2. Loosen the lowest union slightly after installation to bleed air and flood/prime the new pump, then retighten.
  3. Hand-tighten unions only, without using a wrench.
  4. After installation is complete, operate the spa for a few minutes and observe for leaks or air locks.
