Before first use, please carefully read these instructions and follow safety warnings. Retain this manual for future reference and pass it on to whomsoever might acquire the appliance at a later date.

WARNING! Choking hazard. Children should not play with packaging. Keep the plastic bag out of reach of children.

• This appliance should only be used for the purpose for which it was designed. Any other use of this device is considered to be contrary to the intended use and may result in damage.
  WARNING!  The improper use of the appliance may cause injury.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way by a person responsible for their safety or they understand the hazards involved. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be made by children.
  Never leave the appliance unattended.
  Never use the appliance with wet hands or barefoot.
  Do not pull the cord to unplug the appliance.
  Do not expose the appliance to humidity or atmospheric conditions (rain, sun).

• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach oh children.

• Keep the cord out of reach of hot surfaces.

• The appliance should always be connected to a grounded socket. Ensure the appliance is correctly plugged.

• Place and use the appliance always on a flat sur- face.

• Do not use the appliance for different purposes than those described in this user guide.

• This appliance is only for domestic use.

• For any inspection and repair, always contact an authorized centre. Never try to repair yourself the appliance to avoid invalidating the guarantee.

• Turn on the appliance only when it is in the working position.

• Never leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged.

• Always turn off and unplug the appliance in case of absence.

• Hold the container only by its handle as the surface should be very hot during and after the functioning.

• This appliance is only intended to heat and froth milk, to prepare chocolate milk. Never add other liquid or solid substances in the container.

• Never leave the appliance unattended when in use.

• Never exceed the max. and min. marks.

• The ledge on the bottom of the container (min. mark) should always be covered by milk. If there is not enough milk, the appliance may overheat.

• Never exceed the max. level.

• Never turn on the appliance before filling the container.
  WARNING !
  Overfilling the container can be dangerous if the frothed milk splashes out.
  WARNING!
  The lid must always remain inserted during operation.

• The appliance should always be operated with the original accessories.

• The appliance should always be placed on a flat surface.
  Never expose the appliance and its cord to open flame or hot surfaces (such as gas stove or electric hotplates).
  Do not let the power cord hang free; keep the cord out of reach of hot elements.

PARTS DESCRIPTION

*Milk volume depends on the type of milk (cow, soy, almond, etc). It is recommended to always arrive at the MIN mark and never exceed the MAX mark.

CLEANING BEFORE FIRST USE

• Always unpack the appliance.
• Remove any lebel.
• Before first use or after an extended period of inactivity, clean the appliance as indicated in the section “Cleaning and maintenance” to remove dust or other debris.
• Unwind the cord before use.

FILLING QUANTITY

MIN
Minimum milk quantity: 50/60 ml – the MIN mark should always be covered.
MAX HOT/COLD FOAM
Maximum milk capacity: 150 ml – the MAX mark needs to remain uncovered.
MAX HOT MILK/CHOCOLATE MILK
Maximum milk capacity: 300 ml – the MAX mark needs to remain uncovered.
WARNING!
Never overfill the container!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Place the appliance on a flat surface.
• Remove the lid.
• Insert the stirrer in the milk container and push down.
• Pour the required amount of milk into the container, paying attention to the max and min symbols inside it.
• Add the lid.
• Insert the plug into the socket and the other end into the milk frothier by opening the protective cap.
• Choose the program (hot foam, hot milk, hot chocolate and cold foam).
• After processing, the button is off and the milk frothier shuts down.

WARNING!
Never use the appliance only with milk or empty.
Fire hazard! Never place the appliance above a heat source.
NOTE: Leave a minimum rest time of 3 minutes between consecutive sessions, otherwise the device will automatically enter the self-protection state.

HOT FOAM
NOTE: The maximum amount of milk allowed to be poured is 150ml to prevent the milk from overflowing after frothing. The minimum quantity of milk allowed to be poured is 50/60ml.

• Press once the ON/OFF button. The appliance emits the “D” sound and the indicator light glows red.
• After processing (about 100-200 seconds), the appliance emits a “D” sound and turns off.
• The indicator light continues to flash for approximately thirty seconds.
• The appliance shuts down if you press the button again.

HOT MILK
NOTE: The maximum amount of milk allowed to be poured is 300ml to prevent the milk from overflowing after frothing. The minimum quantity of milk allowed to be poured is 50/60ml.

• Press the ON/OFF button twice. The appliance emits a “DD” sound and the indicator light glows red.
• After processing (about 180-260 seconds), the appliance emits a “D” sound and turn automatically off.
• The indicator light continues to flash for approximately 30 seconds.
• The appliance shuts down if you press the button again.

CHOCOLATE MILK
NOTE : The maximum amount of milk allowed to be poured is 300ml to prevent the milk from overflowing after frothing. The minimum quantity of milk allowed to be poured is 50/60ml.

• Grate the chocolate finely before starting the preparation.
• Press the button three times. The appliance emits a “DDD” sound and the indicator light glows red.
• Insert the chocolate/cocoa only after starting the programme, ie when the milk has already been stirred. Otherwise, the stirrer may get stuck.
• After processing (about 250-380 seconds), the appliance will emit a “D” sound and turn off automatically.
• The indicator light continues to flash for approximately 30 seconds.
• The appliance shuts down if you press the button again.

NOTE:
It is suggested to use the following quantities of chocolate:

200ml of milk + about 15-20g
300ml of milk + about 30-35g

COLD FOAM
NOTE: The maximum amount of milk allowed to be poured is 150ml to prevent the milk from overflowing after frothing. The minimum quantity of milk allowed to be poured is 50/60ml.

• Press the switch button four times. The appliance will emit a “DDDD” sound and the indicator light glows blue.
• After processing (about 110-130 seconds), the appliance will emit a “D” sound and turn off automatically.
• The indicator light continues flashing for other 30 seconds.
• The appliance shuts down if you press the button again.

TIPS FOR USING

• With small amounts of milk (MIN mark), you will achieve best results.
• Use a foaming stirrer to heat and foam the milk into milk foam. Immediately prepare coffee or hot chocolate when the milk frother is working.
• For best results, always use whole milk (fat content > 3%).
• It is recommended to use milk with a high protein content. For best results, remove the milk from the fridge immediately before using it.
• If you want the milk froth to be very dense, first proceed with a cycle for cold frothing milk and then continue with a cycle for hot frothing milk.
• With our milk frothier, you can froth but not further cool down the cold milk.
• Milk is heated up to 60-80°C. Such temperature is the most ideal temperature and it will not weaken the taste of coffee but also increase the flavor of coffee. You don’t need to wait too long to drink this coffee.
• After using the appliance, wait 2 minutes for the thermostat to reset and the whisk to be used again.
• The milk frothier is exclusively designed to froth and heat the milk.
• The main feature to obtain a good foam is the quantity of fat. Here are the main types of vegetable milk:
• Soy milk is the most suitable choice for preparing an excellent vegetable cappuccino because it has a good percentage of fat, a characteristic which allows the milk to be frothed satisfactorily. The foam (hot or cold) is dense and full-bodied.
• Almond milk is characterized by a sweet and delicate taste and manages to froth very little during frothing. The cold foam guarantees a fairly long-lasting creaminess, although not at the levels of soy milk, while the hot foam foams very little and disassembles in a very short time.
• Oat milk has a more neutral and unobtrusive flavor and has a texture that makes it easy to froth. The foam is very light, fine and shiny, pleasant to taste in the mouth, but it doesn’t last long because it disassembles in a very short time like with almond milk.
• The rice milk does not froth sufficiently because it incorporates air and is unable to create a creamy and dense foam, just a mixture based on bubbles which does not ensure a good cappuccino.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING!
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for it to cool down.
WARNING!
Never immerse the container or the cord.

• Wash the lid with water and a mild detergent.
• The lid is not a component that can be washed in the dishwasher. Rinse thoroughly and leave to dry.
• Remove the stirrer to froth/heat and wash thoroughly in lukewarm water.
• Close the protective cap of the power cable.
• Wash the inside of the container with a combination of mild detergent and water, then wipe with a soft damp cloth.
• Clean the outside of the container with a soft damp cloth or detergent, never use an abrasive cleaner.
• NOT DISHWASHER SAFE.

NOTE: Do not use chemical cleaners, such as cleaner for steel or wood, or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the appliance.
