Frequently asked questions

  • How do I use my detergent dispenser?
Take care not to fill any compartment in your dispenser beyond the maximum line. Add liquid bleach, fabric softener, and stain treating additives to the labeled compartments as needed, taking care not to use more than 2 detergent packs in the compartment.

  • Can I open the Laundry Tower™ doors during a cycle?
If you need to add a forgotten item to the washer, press Start/Pause and wait for the door to unlock. Add your item, close the door and press Start/Pause to resume the cycle. To add an item to
the dryer, press Start/Pause on the dryer controls, add the item, then close the door and press Start/Pause again to resume the cycle.

  • What can I do to optimize the drying performance?
The dryer is equipped with a clamshell style lint filter which must be opened to remove collected lint. Press the Open button and clean the lint filter after every load. See your Use & Care Manual for complete instructions on how to clean the filter. Check to make sure the cycle and settings selected are the right ones for your load type.
