- This product has been designed for use on a vertical wall constructed of masonry (solid concrete) or wood studs. Wood studs must be a minimum of 2×4 inches. For safe installation, the wall you are mounting to must support 4 times the weight of the total load, if not the surface must be reinforced to meet this standard.
- For custom installation please contact a qualified installer. The installer is responsible for verifying that the wall structure is surface and that the anchors used in the installation will safely support the total load.
- Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity for this product. Use with products larger than the suggested maximum weight and size may result in instability causing possible injury or damage.
- Be careful of in-wall utilities; Natural Gas, Plumbing. Electrical.

Ready, Set, Mount: U.S. Brown Bear Before You Begin Tips
- Select your desired viewing location
- Use a level to ensure proper alignment
- Identify your mounting surface: Wood Stud or Concrete
- Different installation steps apply for different surfaces, see options on the following pages
- Gather the Bear Necessities: Recommended Tools and a Smile
- Get to know the components of your U.S. Brown Bear Mount
- Measure all cables to ensure sufficient cable length
- Assistance may be required to lift your flat screen into position
Wall Bracket Installation Steps for Wood Studs
- Locate studs with a stud finder. Mark stud edge and center location with a pencil.
- Select desired height. Use Wall Bracket as a template to mark drilling locations with a pencil (x4). Use a level to ensure proper alignment.
- Drill pilot holes at marked locations (x4).
- Secure Wall Bracket with W-A Screws and W-C Washers (x4).
Wall Bracket Installation Steps for Concrete
- Select desired height. Use Wall Bracket as template to mark drilling locations with a pencil (x4). Use a level to ensure proper alignment.
- Drill pilot holes at marked locations (x4).
- Gently hammer Wall Anchors into pilot holes (x4).
- Secure Wall Bracket with W-A Screws and W-C Washers (x4).
Flat Screen Bracket Attachment Steps
When attaching brackets to the flat screen be careful not to over-tighten
screws and be sure that screws do not bottom out in the mounting holes.

Align Flat Screen Bracket with VESA hole pattern on the back of Flat Screen (X2). Secure with appropriate screw size and washers from Monitor Kit as illustrated.
**** Be sure to carefully align the holes of the brackets with the mounting holes on the flat screen

Lift and hook the flat screen with attached brackets (A) to the wall plate (B).
**** Assistance may be required to lift your flat screen into position.

Secure the flat screen into place by tightening the fixed screws and enjoy!

Use a Tool-Free Adjustment lever to tilt and lock the Flat Screen into place.

- U.S. BROWN BEAR products are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years. U.S. BROWN BEAR will repair or replace the defective component or product, at its sole discretion. Failure to follow product care instructions from U.S. BROWN BEAR will result in a void of warranty.
- To obtain warranty service, contact U.S. BROWN BEAR customer service at 1.510.891.1365 or service@usbrownbear.com. You must supply a copy of your original receipt. If your product must be shipped to U.S. BROWN BEAR for inspection, you will be responsible for the shipping charges. Replacement products shipped to you will be returned freight pre-paid.
