CONTROLLER BATTERY PLACEMENT
Using a screwdriver, open the battery compartment located in the handle of the
controller. Insert 2x AAA batteries keeping attention to polarity signs + and
— engraved inside the battery housing.
Once the batteries are installed, controller is automatically activated,
waiting to be linked to a car.

Place a car on the track, check the electrical contact with the rails. Remove
any other car from circuit preventing unwanted links. The car lights will
flash as long as the car is not paired.
Press and hold the pairing button (B1) of the controller and wait until the
car moves a little, indicating a successful link. The status led (L1) will
turn yellow after pressing the button (B1) and once it is paired it will turn
green. If the car being linked was previously linked to another controller,
check that the previous controllers are out of range or turned off.
To link a new car to a controller, first remove any already programmed car
from the track and repeat the procedure in paragraph above.
The SCX® ADVANCE controllers automatically turn off after 4 minutes of

It has two additional power jacks where you can connect up to two more transformers allowing a total of 9 running cars.
lf nothing happens, check:
A – That the tracks are properly connected (Figure 1).
B – The connection of the transformer to the track and to the mains
electricity supply (Figure 2C)
C – Disconnect the transformer and check to ensure that there are no metal
