SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this appliance to someone else, make sure to also include this manual.
In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use or use not in accordance with the requirements of this manual.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  2. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  4. This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
  5. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
  6. The unit is designed for households use only. Do not use outdoors.
  7. The unit is to be operated with DC 5V / 1A USB power source. Use the cable provided for power connection.
  8. Use the unit only as described in this manual. The use of attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons.
  9. To prevent from short circuit and damage to the unit, do not immerse the unit or the USB cord set into water.
  10. Do not place the unit near any explosives, heated oven or hot surfaces.
  11. Place the unit on a flat even surface which is resistant to heat, splashes and with sufficient free space around it.
  12. Do not place the unit near curtains because they may cover the rear grille to block the air flow.
  13. Do not tilt the unit to avoid water leaking.
  14. Never put any object into the unit during operation.
  15. Do not touch the moving parts.
  16. . Do not spray any pesticide or detergent on the unit to avoid damage to the material.
  17. Please fill the water tank with clean water; distilled water is only to avoid building scale along with usage.
  18. Do not use any other liquid e.g. perfume, essential oil, medicine etc. to avoid damage of the unit.
  19. Always turn off and disconnect the unit before assembling, cleaning and moving the unit.
  20. Do not operate the unit after the unit malfunction or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to service center for examination repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
  21.  Do not place the unit near a heater or any electrical equipment.
  22. Do not place the unit in passageways or high traffic areas where there is a possibility of tripping or knocking it over.
  23. Do not allow any foreign objects inside the unit.
  24. Do not block the front and back grills of the unit.
  25. Do not turn the unit upside down.
  26.  Do not submerge the unit under water or other liquids.
  27. Do not place the unit near open flames or fire sources. Note: To avoid a hazard of electrical shock, please do not use the charging cable or the unit if they are found damaged.

BEFORE USE

  1. Remove all packaging materials and labels.
  2. Place the appliance on a firm, flat surface.
  3. Open the water tank lid and fill 250ml distilled water to the water tank each time. After the water has been fully soaked by the water-cooling pad, the water level will fall to the bottom of the water gauge. Then, fill in another 250ml distilled water. Observe the water level to ensure no over filling of water. (fig.1)
  4. The unit can be powered by using a USB charging cable to connect with a phone charging adapter, computer USB port or a power bank of which output is DC 5V / 1A. Please connect the charging cable to the USB port on the side of the unit with the USB power source. (fig.2) Your appliance now is ready for use.

USE

  1. Press the button for 2 seconds to start the appliance. The appliance works at low wind speed in default without mist. The power indicator and low wind speed indicator illuminate.
  2. Press the button to switch the wind speed among low, medium and high. The corresponding indicator light will be on.
  3. Press the button once to start the continuous mist mode. The mist indicator will illuminate. The mist will come out continuously.
  4. Press the button once again to shift the operation to intermittent mist mode. The mist will be emitted in a cycle pattern of 4 seconds on / 1.5 seconds off. The mist indicator will illuminate on and off per the cycle set.
  5. Press the button again to exit the mist operation. The mist indicator will extinguish.
  6. Long press the button for 2 seconds to turn off the unit.

Tips:

  • Please let the water-cooling pad absorb water for at least 3 minutes before starting the mist function.
  • Please do not move or tilt the unit when it contains water.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Warning : Switch off the unit before remove the water-cooling pad.

Cleaning the water-cooling pad

  1. Switch off the unit.
  2. Pull out the top cover with the locked water-cooling pad. (fig.3)
  3. Push the top cover against the water-cooling pad as per direction below to unlock the pad. (fig.4)
  4. Clean the water-cooling pad under running water in upright position.
  5. Install the water-cooling pad into the hook on the top cover. Lock it by pulling the pad as per the direction shown below which is opposite to the direction to unload it. (fig.5)emerio PSC-701 Air Cooler with Cool Mist FIG \(6\)

Cleaning the unit

  1. Before cleaning, please make sure the unit is switched off and not connected to the charging cable.
  2. Wipe the adjustable louver and the air inlet grille with damp cloth.
  3. Flush the water-cooling pad under running tap water. After cleaning, please make the pad dry. Then insert to the unit.
  4. Do not immerse the unit in water. Do not disassemble any part except the water-cooling pad.
  5. Do not use gas, cleaner, hard brush or stainless-steel ball etc. to clean the unit. Avoid scratching the surface.

Note:

  • Do not immerse the unit or the charging cable into water.
  • Drain all the water after each use.
  • Make sure the unit and parts are dry after each cleaning.

Drain the water

  • Remove the drain hole stopper on the bottom of the unit.
  • Drain all water inside the unit.
  • Wipe the unit surface with dry cloth.
    Note : Please make sure all the water is drained after each use.

STORAGE

  • Follow above cleaning instructions to well maintain the unit before storage.
  • Tidy up the charging cable.
  • Keep the unit away from children’s easy access.
  •  Store the unit and the accessories at a dry, cool place.
    Note: Please make sure the unit and parts are dry before storing it.
