Product Information

• The Rechargeable Ultraviolet Leak Detection Lamp is a versatile tool designed to help users identify and locate leaks easily and efficiently. It emits UV light, which causes fluorescent dyes to glow, making it easier to spot leaks in various systems.
• CAUTION! ALWAYS USE APPROPRIATE EYE PROTECTION (UV ENHANCING GLASSES) WHEN OPERATING LIGHT. Protect eyes during operation. Do not look directly at the light during operation. Exposure to UV light, even for a brief period can damage your eyes.
• The lamp comes with UV Enhancing Glasses, which are essential for safe operation. These glasses protect your eyes from potential harm caused by UV light exposure.
• Running time: 1.5 hrs.
• For optimum results, it is recommended not to use the lamp in bright sunlight and always wear the UV Enhancing Glasses. The glasses enhance your ability to see the fluorescent glow of the dye, ensuring accurate leak detection.
• The Neo light in the lamp maintains its peak performance throughout the charged life of the battery, providing consistent light intensity
• The lamp has a rechargeable battery that needs to be charged when it is almost fully depleted. When the battery requires charging, the UV Phazer NEO will begin to flash ON/OFF.

Charging Instructions

1. Unscrew the switch cap to access the charging port.
2. Connect the charging cable to the lamp’s charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a suitable power source.
4. Allow the lamp to charge for approximately 5 hours.
5. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.
6. Screw the switch cap back on tightly.

Operating Instructions

1. Put on the UV Enhancing Glasses provided.
2. Turn on the lamp by depressing the switch on the rear of the lamp.
3. Scan the area with the UV lamp to detect leaks.
4. Adjust the focus and intensity by turning the head of the lamp.

1. Put on UV Enhancing Glasses (supplied).
2. Turn on lamp by depressing switch on rear of lamp.
3. Scan the area with the UV lamp.
4. Adjust focus/intensity by turning head on lamp.
   • A fluorescent glow will appear from leaks. For optimum results do not use lamp in bright sunlight and make sure to wear the
   • UV Enhancing Glasses as they will allow you to more clearly see the fluorescent glow of the dye.
   • The Neo light will maintain the light intensity at it’s peak performance throughout the charged life of the battery.
   • When the battery is almost fully depleted, it will begin to turn off automatically or fail to turn on consistently.
   • When this occurs, the battery must be re-charged.

Charging Instructions

1. Unscrew switch cap.

2. Place battery in charger – positive to positive. Charge for 5 hours. (Drop in battery positive end first.)

3. Attach switch cap hand tight.

NOTE: The UV Phazer NEO will begin to flash ON / OFF when the battery requires charging.
