Klic Floor Pump Burst Tank Guide
Proper Tank Engagement
Prior to starting, make the sure tank is properly attached to the pump.
The burst tank airflow connector should fit securely into the pump
manifold(fig.A) and the tank base should be positioned correctly on the pump
base(fig. B).
If the burst tank airflow connector is not fully engaged(fig. C), you will not
receive adequate air flow and can potentially damage the pump manifold.
This is likely caused by the base of the tank not positioned correctly on the
pump base(fig. D).
Charging the Burst Tank
Standard use for rapidly inflating and seating tubless tires.
Remove the gauge/hose from the pump handle.
Insert the hose into the top of the canister manifold, an audible “klic” should be heard.
Rotate the valve adapter to orientate the reversible head into the Schrader position, then thread the valve adapter back onto the hose. Thread the hose into the Schrader valve at the top of the burst tank until resistance is felt. Be careful not to over tighten as this can squeeze the seal and restrict airflow into the tank.
