Installation Instructions for Adapter Lid For 255/215

Only trained and certified electrical, plumbing and refrigeration technicians
should service this unit
All wiring and plumbing must conform to national and local codes. Failure to comply could result in serious injury, death or equipment damage.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING:
Disconnect power to the unit before servicing. Follow all lock out/tag out
procedures established by the user. Verify all power is off to the unit before
performing any work. Failure to comply could result in serious injury, death
or damage to the equipment.
CAUTION:
Always be sure to keep the area around the unit clean and free of clutter.
Failure to keep this area clean may result in injury or equipment damage.
CAUTION:
Note the following: This unit is not designed for use in outdoor locations.
The appliance must be placed in a horizontal position. The appliance is not
suitable for installation in an area where a water jet would be used.
FUNCTION:
- The lid functions as a manual fill lid normally and then can be cut to appropriate score and be an ice adapter.
CAUTION:
Before Installing the Lid, remove the existing cover if present, you will have
two paths for the installation, with and without ice maker on top of the unit.
LID INSTALLATION (WITHOUT ICEMAKER)

** 5.| Place the 28″ bar from the kit in
the front pocket as shown in Figure 9. ****
For the 30″ ice maker turn the spacers on the end of the bar to face down. Apply RTV on each end of the bar to fill gap between bar and hopper as shown in Figure 10.
For a 22″ ice maker turn the spacers on the end of the bar to face upwards and use (2) front to rear bar. Apply RTV on each end of the bar to fill gap between bar and hopper as shown in Figure 11.

**** 6.| Add some RTV (Silicon), all around the
exterior line, as shown. Place the cut lid on top of the ice bin.|
