Product Information
The Night Owl Indoor Pan and Tilt Camera is a versatile camera that can be used as a standalone device or added to a compatible recorder. It features a microSD card slot for video storage and has a status LED guide to indicate various camera statuses. The camera can be installed on a shelf or mounted on a wall or ceiling using the provided mounting hardware. The package includes a quick setup guide, USB cable, power adapter, and mounting hardware.
Product Usage Instructions
- Add your Camera: To begin using the camera, add it to the Night Owl app or a compatible recorder. For detailed setup steps, scan the QR codes provided.
- MicroSD Card: If using the camera as a standalone device, insert a microSD card (up to 128GB) for video storage. Make sure the camera is powered on and connected to the Night Owl app before inserting the microSD card.
- Status LED Guide: The LED status guide indicates different camera statuses such as powering on, ready to pair, pairing/reconnecting, camera on and paired, and firmware upgrade. Refer to the user manual for more information on each LED status.
- Install the Camera: There are two ways to set up the camera:
- a) Place the camera on a shelf or flat surface.
- b) Use the provided mounting hardware to mount the camera on a wall or ceiling. Note that a screwdriver or drill is required for mounting.

- Download the Night Owl App: If you are a first-time user, download the Night Owl app, create an account, and log in. If you already have an account, simply log in to the app.
- Plug It In: Use the provided USB cable and power adapter to connect the camera to an outlet for power.
- Wall Mount Reset: There is a reset button located on the wall mount for resetting the camera if needed.
- Initial Setup/Pairing: For the initial setup and pairing, make sure the camera is within 1 to 3 feet of your router or recorder.

- If you are a first-time user, go ahead and download the Night Owl app. Quickly create an account and log in.
- Already have an account? Simply log in.
Plug It In
Use the provided USB cable and power adapter to plug your camera into an
outlet.
NOTE: For initial setup/pairing, have your camera within 1 to 3 feet of your router or recorder.

- To begin viewing your camera, add it to the Night Owl app or to a compatible recorder.

MicroSD Card
If using the camera as a standalone (no recorder), you will need to insert
a microSD Card (up to 128GB) for video storage. NOTE: With the camera
powered on and connected to the Night Owl app, you can use the pan and tilt
controls in the app to tilt the camera up to reveal the microSD Card insert.
