What’s in the box
Know your camera
Pairing camera
Step 1
Download the Night Owl Protect app.
Note: You need register a Night Owl account before you can log in. Ensure
that your cell phone is on the Wi-Fi network.
Step 2
Short press the power button to turn on the camera. And the camera give a
voice prompt “Device is ready for use”.
Step 3
Camera continues to a voice prompt “Camera is in pairing mode”. And add a
camera according to the app’s prompt in Night Owl app.
Step 4
During the network connection, the camera will give a voice prompt “Please be
patient as camera connects to WIFI”.
Step 5
When camera is successfully connected, the camera will give a voice prompt
“Woohoo, setup is now complete”.
Step 6
Please name your Night Owl camera and now you can into live view.
Mounting camera
Step 1
Use the provided anchors and screws to mount the wall mount base. If the wall
is wooden, you can screw the mount directly.
Step 2
Attach your camera to the camera base and secure it by rotating clockwise.
Step 3
Adjust the camera’s view angle to your preferred position.
Note:
- Avoid installing the camera with the camera lens facing direct sunlight.
- Mind any plants or objects that may obstruct the view.
- We suggest you mount the camera within a 30 feet range of your Wi-Fi router. Keep the camera close to the router and camera will have better performance.
Notice
- Please make sure to fully charge the included battery before use the camera.
- Extreme weather conditions will affect battery effciency. We suggest only operating the camera between -4° to 140° Degrees Fahrenheit.
