Product Usage Instructions
Follow the steps below to assemble the motor protector on your Honda Rebel 1100:
Assembly:
- The assembly shown in the manual is for the left side. Repeat the same steps for the right side.
- Start by attaching the nylon protector (3) to the designated area on the motorcycle frame using the M12/175×80 DIN912 screws (1) and M12 DIN433 washers (2).
- Place the aluminum spacer (4) with a diameter of 62mm (black) on top of the nylon protector.
- Insert the M12x340 bar (6) into the designated hole on the aluminum spacer.
- If desired, attach the rubber trim (7) as an additional accessory to enhance the appearance.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
INSTRUCTIONS TO ASSEMBLE
Remove the fasteners that subject the chassis to the engine. Mount the
protectors on each own side as the figure below shows. Tight the set, and
place the caps.
All the screws replaced, should be tightened to the torque specified in the
oem maintenance manual for your motorcycle. if no torque specifications are
provided in the oem maintenance manual, may be used 54Nm for all M10 screws.
Medium strength liquid thread-locker (i.e. “Loctite”) should be used to secure
all screws, bolts and nuts. All screws, bolts and nuts should be checked after
driving
the first 50 km to ensure that all are tightened to the proper torque.
