Welcome to the Prospect Training Academy Program Guide for the 2023/2024
season.
We are very excited to build on the momentum we built this past season and
have heading into our 9th season. Here are some of our program’s
accomplishments to date:
- In 2022-2023, we have had 14 college commits including Dayton, Quincy, Iowa, UW-Parkside, UW-Oshkosh and UW-Milwaukee
- 100+ College Commits since 2016 including UNC, Ohio State, UWM, ASU, TCU, Oklahoma State and Northern Kentucky
- 250+ Championship Games since 2016
We expect to have great success at all levels in 2023 and are excited about our continued growth:
- We have built a very strong team of coaches that includes 2 former MLB Players, 2 former D1 College Coaches, 3 current High School Coaches, multiple coaches with experience playing at the D1 and D2 level and several current Milkmen players.
We are excited to have truly defined the PTA Way and look forward to a great
2023/2024 season!
Thank you for the opportunity to share information about our program with you
and your athlete.

League Play
Our 8U-14U teams will play in a
weekday league that will average between 12-15 league games. Teams will be
placed with the appropriate level of competition.
15U+ will not participate in a league. They will focus on practicing during
the week and preparing for tournament play.
Tournament Play
8U-12U teams will play between 5-10 tournaments depending on their age level
and team level (see pricing grid above). We intend to have a destination
tournament at each level that is included. For example, a tournament in
Mauston for the younger ages.
We believe that Cooperstown is an awesome experience for our kids. We plan to
send our 12U teams there annually. That said, there is a fundraising
commitment in addition to the fees outlined in the attached pricing grid.
The 13U-18U teams will play between 5-10 tournaments depending on their age
level and team level (Cardinal or White). For our older teams, we will put our
teams in the appropriate exposure tournaments and work to ensure we are
showcasing the talents of our high school players.

Winter training will feature position/skill specific training and team practices from November 1st to April 1st for 8U-14U and from November 1st to March 15th for 15U-17U.

Facilities & Equipment
The rock sports complex
The Rock is the exclusive home to Prospect Training Academy and one of the most significant differentiators amongst our competition. The Rock’s elite baseball facilities include 4 fullsize fields and 2 youth-sized fields and all major league replica fields, which are surfaced with synthetic turf infield and 3-D Ultra Sod and root mix, which is the same product used by the majority of MLB stadiums across the nation. This high-tech playing surface has been designed to accurately mimic the bounce of the ball off of real dirt and grass, and will allow fields to be playable immediately after rain. The complex has 4 outdoor batting cages and each field is equipped with 2 bullpens. Other state-of-the-art features include fully digital scoreboards and field lighting by sports lighting industry leader Qualite.
Indoor Facilities
The MOSH Performance Center is our new, state of the art indoor training
facility. We have 1 full size infield, 12 cages, 78,000 ft² of space available
for training, and access to Watts & Diesel on site.
We’re also retaining our current training facility at 6758 S 13th Street in
Oak Creek, WI. This 15,000 ft² training facility includes 6 batting cages and
a youth infield.
Recplex
The RecPlex is the largest municipal recreation facility in America, located
on the shores of Lake Andrea in Prairie Springs Park, Pleasant Prairie. We
have access to their 6 baseball fields and indoor 60,000 ft² Field House for
families to train.
