SAFETY
**** Please read the following information very carefully before operating
your machine. This article contains important details regarding set up, usage,
and maintenance. Failure to abide by all warning labels and instructions may
result in personal harm, machine malfunction, and a void in warranty.
Prior to connecting power to your Solstice, verify the machine’s operating
voltage matches your provided voltage. Failure to do so may cause internal
damage and a void in warranty.
Operate only in a well ventilated area and never leave unattended. Please
allow at least 6 inches of space around unit to avoid blocking air flow to the
fan.
Keep the unit dry and away from any moisture and flammables.
Only use Master FX Snow Fluids. Use of any other fluids will result in a
voided warranty. Always use caution when pouring fluid and avoid any contact
with hands and eyes. If contact occurs rinse thoroughly. If you experience
irritation seek medical advice. Refer to the Master FX Snow Fluid SDS for
proper handling.
If machine is not working properly, promptly stop use and contact your Master
FX dealer. Repair and service is to be done only by authorized technicians.
Failure to comply will result in a voided warranty.
Persons with asthma or allergic sensitivity may experience irritation,
discomfort, or other allergic symptoms when exposed to artificially produced
snow. Please allow sufficent air circulation when operating the Solstice.
To avoid slipping hazards, do not aim output over high traffic areas. Master
FX Snow fluid is a dry formula, but when operating at a high volume output
there is a risk of moisture accumulation.
GETTING STARTED
-
Place the Solstice on a flat surface with at least 6 inches of open space around the machine to ensure the fan vents are not blocked. You may also mount the Solstice from truss. To avoid spilling fluid on to the machine, remove 5L or 20L container before filling with Master FX Snow Fluid. Use Master FX Snow Fluids only. Once full, return the container to the machine and use the quick connect to attach fluid hose. Next, connect the Neutrik Powercon TRUE1 to proper power supply. To determine suitable power requirements, please refer to the power ratings label on the front of the machine.
-
Once power is connected the OLED screen will read “Welcome to the Solstice” followed by “Snow is in the Forecast”. You are now ready to begin snowing.

CLEANING YOUR SOLSTICE
Before storing your Solstice or Solstice Pro for the off-season, it is
important to clean your machine as a preventative maintenance measure. If Snow
Fluid is left in the machine for an extended time, the fluid will become
extremely thick and clog the lines. This will result in pump failure and a
voided warranty.
How to Clean Your Solstice: With the output directed to a drain, run the
machine with warm distilled water at 100% output for 1-2 minutes or until no
snow or foam is observed at the output. Next, operate the Solstice with Master
FX Snow Machine Stabilizer for 10 seconds, or 1 minute for the Solstice Pro.
Once complete, your machine is safe for extended storage.
When removing from storage, operate the Solstice with Master FX Snow Fluid
until snow is seen from the output.
Direct the nozzle downwards during this process to allow any liquid to drain
out of the system.
