IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Before using the product for the first time, clean all the components of the appliance that may come into contact with food according to the cleaning section of this manual.

• Children should not use this device. Keep the device and the cable out of reach.
• Not intended for use by or near children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children or incapacitated persons. Be sure to store the appliance out of reach.
• This unit is not a toy. You should supervise children to make sure they do not play with the unit. To reduce the risk of electrical accidents, never operate this unit with wet or damp hands, do not immerse in water, or place it on spilled liquids.
• Do not leave the power cord hanging, or allow it to come in contact with hot or sharp surfaces.
• Do not leave it or keep appliance near where there is a risk of falling or throwing it in the bathtub, sink or other water container.
• If it accidentally fall into water, “Unplug” it immediately. DO NOT introduce your hand in the water to take out.
• Never use this unit if the power cord or plug is damaged, if it is not operating properly, if it has been dropped, damaged in any part, leaked, or accidentally dropped into water or liquid. Take the unit to an authorized service center by the manufacturer for inspection and / or repair.
• Use this blender only for the purpose for what it was designed and described in this manual. Do not use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not place the unit near or over gas or electric ranges, or near hot ovens.
• You must not use it outdoors.
• Watch out! Turn off and unplug the appliance before start cleaning, changing accessories or storing it.
• Always turn off and unplug your blender immediately after use. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not insert anything into the cavities of the appliance.
• If any of the enclosures of the appliance break, disconnect immediately from the electrical network to avoid the possibility of an electric shock.
• Do not force the power cord. Never use the power cord to transport, lift or disconnect the blender.
• Never wrap the power cord around the appliance. Constantly check the perfect condition of the cable, as damaged or entangled cables increase the risk of electric shock. Do not let it get wrinkled or trapped.
• DO NOT INSERT ANY STRANGE OBJECT INTO THE CONTAINER WHILE THE BLENDER IS IN OPERATION, once your blender is turned off and unplugged you can use a rubber spatula to move the food, which must be removed from the jar before putting the blender into operation again.
• IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO PROCESS LIQUIDS OR HOT INGREDIENTS, AS THEY CAN LEAVE WITH A LOT OF CONTAINER PRESSURE AND CAUSE SOME PHYSICAL DAMAGE.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use of the device.
• Never overfill the blender jar, be sure not to fill above the maximum level mark.
• Make sure the unit is on a flat, safe surface before it is turned on.
• Make sure all electrical connections are clean and dry.
• Make sure that the lid is properly closed before turning on the unit.
• Keep your face, hands and arms or any part of the body sensitive to heat away from the steam that may emanate from the lids orifice when processing warm or hot foods (not recommended). Always start processing hot ingredients with lowest speed and do not fill the jar up to its maximum capacity.
• Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
• Do not move or turn around the appliance while it is in operation or connected to the outlet. When removing the blades for washing, be sure to assemble them correctly. Before using again make sure they are completely dry.
• Do not use the unit with timers or any device that automatically turns the device on and off.
• NEVER put your hand or any foreign object into the blender jar, if it is placed over the blender engine and even less if the appliance is connected to the electric outlet. Extreme caution if pouring hot liquids into your blender, as they could be thrown out of the appliance suddenly as a result of sudden steam.
• Switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply, before handling, changing
  accessories or have contact with the moving parts of the appliance.

THE FAILURE TO FOLLOW ANY OF THE SAFETY WARNINGS, IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS AND INSTRUCTIONS IS A MISUSE OF YOUR BLENDER THAT CAN VOID YOUR WARRANTY AND CREATE THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY.

CONTROL PANEL

Continuous speed programs

• High: The blender turns on at high speed.
• Low: The blender turns on at low speed.

Programs section 1

• Ice: pulse function will turn on during 1 minute with 20 seconds, after that the blender will automatically turn off.
• Sauce: from 0 to 15 seconds the blender will process food with low speed, after that from 16 to 40 seconds will increase to high speed and then automatically turn off.

POWER: On/off button

• Red ligh indicates off position.
• Green led indicates on position.

Programs section 2

• Smoothie: from O to 10 seconds the blender will process food with low speed, after that from 11 to 60 seconds will increase to high speed and then automatically turn off.
• Puree: Blender will process ingredients during 20 seconds at medium speed and after that time will automatically turn off.

Pulse functions

• ( P+ ): While the user keeps pushing the button, the blender will process ingredients with high speed.
• ( P- ) While the user keeps pushing the button, the blender will process ingredients with low speed.

IMPORTANT

• The blender must turn off (the led in the ON/OFF button must turns red) and unplug it from the electric source before changing accesories, remove the container or start cleaning.
• Make sure to turn off and unplug the blender after every use.
• PULSE functions have a 1 second delay after the button is pushed.

USE RECOMMENDATIONS:

• For small mixtures it is recommended to use the 2GO! Bottles instead the 2.5 liters jar (If your appliance doesn’t contain this accessory, it is possible to buy in www.taurus.com.mx or with an authorized distributor).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Use and care

• Before each use, fully unwrap the power cord of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not properly attached.
• Do not use the appliance with empty containers.
• Do not use the appliance if the on / off function does not work.
• Do not move or turn around the appliance while it is in use or plug to the outlet.
• Do not exceed the maximum capacity indicated on the containers.
• Unplug the appliance from the outlet when it is not in use, before removing or installing accessories and before starting cleaning.
• Extreme precautions when handling the blades; either when emptying the jar, removing or putting them on the appliance and during cleaning. The blades of your appliance are extremely sharp and could cause damage. Before each use, check that the moving parts are not misaligned or locked, that there are no broken parts or other conditions that may affect the proper functioning of the appliance.
• Never leave the device connected and unattended, this will also save energy and prolong the life of the device.
• Do not forget to position correctly the sealing ring corresponding to each bottom cap and set of blades, since food or liquids could leak. Prepare and insert the food into the container separately before attaching it to the engine body.
• ITIS RECOMMENDED NOT TO USE THE BLENDER FOR MORE THAN 10 CONTINUOUS MINUTES. FOR EVERY 10 MINUTES OF USE, YOU SHOULD ALLOW IT TO COOL DOWN FOR 5 MINUTES BEFORE USING IT AGAIN.
• Your product, like any other blender, is not recommended for processing hot liquids or foods.

Note: The blender has an automatic overload protection that may turn off the appliance during forced operation to protect from overheating. To restore the start-up it is necessary to turn the blender “OFF”, disconnect the blender from the outlet, allow blender to cool down for 50 minutes before restarting, connect again making sure that the blender jar is correctly positioned on the engine body.

HOW TO USE

Liter blender jar

• Place sealing rings on the blades (Fig.1), then place the blades and sealing ring attachment on the bottom of the jar into the blade housings (Fig. 2).
• Screw the bottom caps to the bottom of the 2.5 liter blender jar, turning clockwise. (Fig. 3)

Blender operation

• Insert the food to be processed in the blender jar before placing it in the engine body and then place the lid correctly, make sure that the filler cap is correctly placed in the hole of the lid (Fig. 4).
• Place the blender jar on the engine bodu, connect the blender to the electrical outlet, turn it on and select the desired speed or program.
• To add ingredients you can do it through the hole in the lid by removing the filler cap and placing it back when you finish adding the ingredients.
• There are mixtures that due to their thickness or hardness require the support of the tamper. You can insert it through the hole in the lid (Fig. 5) and push the mixture from top to bottom while the blender is processing.
• DO NOT INSERT A DIFFERENT INSTRUMENT THROUGH THE HOLE OF THE COVER WHILE THE BLENDER IS IN OPERATION OR THE JAR IS PLACED ON THE ENGINE BODY.
• When finish processing, turn OFF the blender, remove the blender jar from the engine body and disconnect the appliance from the outlet.
• For easier removal of the lid, apply pressure with your thumb on the lid and flap (Fig. 6)

NOTE
IF THE BLENDER JAR IS NOT POSITIONED CORRECTLY YOUR BLENDER WILL NOT WORK, IN THAT CASE, IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE JAR FROM THE ENGINE BODY AND REPLACE IT CORRECTLY, TRY TO MOVE THE DRIVE A LITTLE AS SHOWN IN THE IMAGE AND PLACE THE JAR AGAIN ON THE ENGINE BODY (Fig 7)

Go! sport bottle

Your blender can operate with two or only one 2Go! sport bottle. This accessory allows you to create 2 different mixes at the same time and is ideal for processing small quantities. It is possible that the version of your blender does not include this accessory, however you can purchase it at www.taurus.com.mx or with any of our authorized distributors.

Coupling of the blades

• The sealing ring should be placed on the bottom cap .. (Fig. 9)
• Introduce the ingredients to be processed (cutted in small pieces) in the bottle and cover with the bottom cap previously assembled with the sealing ring, screw in to close hermetically (Fig. 10)

Blender operation

• Verily that your blender is in the ‘OFF” position, place the 2Go! sport bottle assembling the bottom cap with the engine body. To assemble correctly, turn the bottle in a counter clockwise direction until you hear a click sound. (Fig. 9)
• In case you want it, repeat the same procedure to place the other 2Go! sport bottle in the engine body.
• Turn on your blender and select the desired speed or program to blend. It is recommended to always start with a couple of pulses to integrate all the ingredients before processing.
• In case the mixture gets stuck, turn off your blender, remove the bottle by turning clockwise shake a bit and place it again.
• When finishing processing, turn OFF your appliance, remove the bottle from the engine body and disconnect the appliance from the outlet.
• To remove 2Go! sport bottles turn OFF your i blender and screw the bottles clockw se.
• Make sure that the lid has a sealing ring placed correctly, screw it to the 2Go! sport bottle to close it and take mix wherever you want.

NOTE IF ANY OF THE BOTTLES ARE NOT PLACED CORRECTLY, THAT SIDE OF THE ENGINE BODY WILL NOT WORK. TURN OFF YOUR BLENDER AND MAKE SURE TO PLACE IT CORRECTLY TO OPERATE AGAIN.

Pre-set programs

• Plug your blender to the electric outlet.

• The led light in the ON/OFF button will turn on red.

• Push the ON/OFF button in order to turn on your blender, the light in the button will turn gr een.

• To select one of the four pre-set programs :

  • After turning the blender on. select one of the following options:
    ICE, SAUCE. SMOOTHIE PUREE

• Review the control panel section of this manual to learn about the pre-set programs of your Blaze blender and enjoy them using the 2.5 liters jar or the 2GO! Sport bottles.

CLEANING

1. Always turn off and disconnect the unit from the power supply.
2. Wash blender jars, bottles, blades, bottom caps, sealing rings and caps with a sponge and mild dish soap, allow them to dry completely before reassembling. DO NOT USE SPONGES OR ABRASIVE FIBERS.
3. Clean the engine body with a slightly moistened cloth.
4. Do not use solvents, products with an acid or basic pH factor, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance.
5. Do not allow water or other liquid to enter the ventilation slots to prevent damage to the interior operating parts of the appliance.
6. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid, not place it under the tap.
7. It is recommended to clean the appliance regularly and remove all traces of food.
8. Blender jars, bottles, lids, blades and caps can be washed in the dishwasher.
9. You must allow washable attachments to dry completely before reassembling them.

SELF-CLEANING

1. Place a few drops of dishwashing detergent and water in the blender jar or bottle. Attach according to instructions.
2. Operate with pulse speed for a few seconds.
3. Turn off and unplug your appliance, remove the container according to instructions, rinse with clean water and allow it to dry completely before attaching.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

This unit requires little maintenance and does not contain parts that can be repaired. Do not try to repair it yourself. Take it to an authorized service center, or with trained personnel if necessary.

STORAGE
Turn off your blender and unplug, clean it according to the cleaning section, wait for it to dry completely and store it in a clean and dry place out of the reach of children or people with disabilities.

ANOMALIES AND REPAIR
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, by the authorized service center or by qualified personnel in order to avoid damages. Never try to repair it yourself. Follow the same procedure in case of any other anomaly.

TAURUS is not responsible for failures occurred as a result of a misinterpretation of the texts in this instruction manual. In case you need more clarifications consult directly with your seller.

WARRANTY

This blender is guaranteed by TAURUS ESPAÑA, S.A. DE CV. for a period of FIVE YEARS from the date of purchase.

TERMS
To make the guarantee effective, the only requirements are to present the product and this policy, duly completed, stamped and dated by the establishment that sold it, in the place where it was purchased or in any of the Authorized Service Centers indicate in the directory attached to the product. Our warranty includes the repair, replacement or exchange of the product and / or components without any charge to the client, including labor, as well as the transportation expenses derived from compliance with this certificate. The repair time will be a maximum of 30 working days from the date of receipt of the product in any of the Authorized Service Centers by the manufacturer where guarantee can be made effective. The consumer may request that the guarantee be made effective before the commercial house where the product was purchased.

Note: In the case that this guarantee is lost, the customer can ask to the supplier to issue another guarantee policy upon presentation of the purchase note or corresponding invoice.

Exclusion of the guarantee
This guarantee does not cover the following cases:

1. When the product has been used in conditions other than normal.
2. When the product has not been used according to the present instructions.
3. When the product has been disassembled, repaired or modified by persons not authorized by Taurus Spain, S.A of C.V. No other verbal or written guarantee other than that expressed herein shall be recognized by Taurus- Spain, S.A. of C.V., original parts or components can be purchased at any of the authorized service centers referred to in the attached directory. In order to clalm the guarantee of this product:
