Product Information

The Aroma Diffuser Modena is a device designed for scenting your environment. It has a maximum capacity of 100 ml and can be filled with water-soluble aromas. The device also features an illumination function with color-changing options.

Product Usage Instructions

Start-up Operation:

• Disconnect the power supply unit before filling the device.
• Remove the upper part of the device.
• Fill the device with distilled water up to the maximum water level indicator (100 ml).
• Add 1 to 2 drops of SOEHNLE fragrance oil.
• Reattach the upper part correctly.
• Connect the power supply unit.
• Place the device on a level surface.
• Switch on the device by pressing the switch located in one of the feet.

Cleaning:
It is important to clean the water tank every 3 days to prevent the growth of microorganisms.

• Before cleaning, disconnect the unit from the mains.
• Remove any remaining water from the tank, avoiding the ventilation opening.
• Clean any build-up, deposits, or dirt film from the surfaces of the water tank and internal surfaces.
• Wipe all surfaces dry, including the water reservoir, using a cloth and cotton swab.
• Avoid using abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents.

Troubleshooting:
If you encounter any issues, refer to the following solutions:

• Symptom: No mist
• Error: Power supply unit not properly connected
• Solution: Insert power supply unit into power outlet and device
• Symptom: Not enough water in the water tank
• Solution: Fill up to the maximum water level indicator
• Symptom: Too much water in the water tank (> 100 ml)
• Solution: Pour out water until it reaches the maximum water level indicator

Proper use

• • The SOEHNLE Aroma Diffuser must be used exclusively to improve the fragrance in a room.
  • We recommend using only fra­grance oils by SOEHNLE. Please comply with the dosage instructions on the packaging.
  • Please read these user instruc­tions prior to the first startup of the device.
  • This device is not designed for commercial use.
  • Please check the water level before each start­up.

Remarks

• Operate the device only with the original power supply unit.
• This device may not be used by persons with limited physi­cal sensory or mental abilities or persons lacking experience or knowledge, unless they are monitored by a person respon­sible for their safety or were instructed in the use of the device.
• Children are not allowed to play with the device.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervi­sion or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• VAPOR CAUTION: In addition, it should be noted that steam will be emitted from the appliance, so it should be children should not be in the immediate vicinity of the appliance.
• Cleaning and user mainte­nance must not be performed by children without supervisi­on.
• Do not fill with hot water (> 40°C).
• During filling and cleaning, the device must be disconnec­ted from the mains.
• The device may be used only in dry environments. Please be sure that it is not located near the vicinity of the power supply unit.
• Do not allow the humidifier environment to become damp or wet. If moisture occurs, the humidifier may only be used periodically. Absorbent materi­als such as carpeting, cur­tains, drapes or tablecloths must not be allowed to become damp.
• The power supply unit must be connected in such a way so as to avoid risks in the event of a falling of the device or spilling of liquid.
• Never squeeze the power cord and never pull it across sharp edges.
• Do not operate the device near heat sources.
• Never operate the device with defective power supply unit or power plug.
• Do not take the device into operation if the product or parts of the device show visi­ble damages.
• Do not modify the device in any way. Have repairs to the device or the power supply unit performed only by an authorized repair shop or service centre.
• Place the device only on a solid, level, and moisture ­re­sistant surface.
• Do not cover the device ­ par­ticularly the ventilation open­ings.
• It cannot be completely exclud­ed that some varnishes, plas­tics, or furniture care products may deteriorate and soften the material of the non­slip feet. Therefore please place a non­slip pad underneath the device if required.
• Do not place the device directly underneath a shelf or a wall unit; the water vapour could damage such.

• Aromas containing oil (e.g. eucalyptus oil) must not be used as these may damage the device. Use only water­ soluble aromas.
• Do not transport the device with a filled water tank.
• Do not operate the device if it contains very little or no liquid.
• The device must be emptied and cleaned before storage. The device must be cleaned before the next use.

Start-up Operation

Fill the device only while the power supply unit is disconnected!

1.  Remove the upper part.
2. Fill with distilled water up to the maximum water level indi­cator (100 ml).
3. Add 1 to 2 drops SOEHNLE fragrance oil.
4. Reattach upper part correctly.
5. Connect power supply unit.
6. Place on a level surface.
7. Switch on. The switch is loca­ted in one of the feet. Place hand on the device and press in the direction of the switch.

Cleaning

WARNING: It should be noted that high humidity can promote the growth of microorganisms in the environment. Micro­organisms that may be in the water or in the environment where the unit is used or stored may grow in the water tank and be blown into the air. This can lead to serious health risks if the water is not renewed and the water tank is not properly cleaned  every 3 days.
Clean the water tank every 3 days
Before cleaning, dis connect the unit from the mains.

1. Remove remaining water. Do not use ventilation opening!
2. Any build­up, deposits or dirt film formed on the surfaces of the water tank or internal sur­faces must be removed.
3. All surfaces shall be wiped dry. Wipe out the water reser­voir with a cloth and cotton swab.
4. Do not use abrasive or corro­sive cleaning agents.
