Outdoor temperature & humidity sensor station

  • RF Channel Selection.
  • Battery Compartment for 2 × AAA, 1.5V batteries.

First time to use

First of all, it needs to do the pairing between outdoor remote sensor and weather station. Please follow below procedure to pair the sensor.

  1. Plug the included AC-AC adaptor into the weather station. (optional) insert 2 new “AA” alkaline batteries for backup. The screen is turned on. It starts to search sensor and register the received sensor. During RF pairing, the signal strength icon will animate until the sensor signal is received or for 5 minutes if no signal available.

Note: If no sensors is paired, you can pair the sensor again manually by

  1. pressing and holding the [CH] 1 key over 2 seconds. Please refer to “20- SEARCH FOR OUTDOOR SENSOR”.
  2. Slide the switch to CH1 of the outdoor sensor and insert 2 new “AAA” alkaline batteries.
  3. The wireless remote sensor will transmit the signal and LED will flash during transmission.
  4. Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet from the weather station.
  5. When the RF connection is established, the temperature and humidity readings will ap- pear on the station.
  6. After 3-5 minutes sensor pairing time, the weather station will automatically receive ato mic clock signal, the tower icon will be flashing.
  7. When the weather station detects the atomic clock signal, the signal indication will be indicated
  8. Put the weather station away from interference, such as electronic devices (TV, compu ter, microwave, radio, etc.)
  9. When the atomic clock signal is received successfully, the time and date will be up-dated.
  10. Allow the outdoor sensor and weather to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong connection.
  11. Do not press button for 15 minutes.
  12. After 15 minutes, place the sensor in a shaded outdoor location.

Atomic clock reception

  • The weather station automatically begins search DC signal and update the time every day at 1:00am, 2:00am, 3:00am, 4:00am, 5:00am.
  • The Atomic Time tower icon  will flash while searching and will be solid when it has connected.

Note: When searching the RCC(DCF) signal the display will be dim.

Manual rec reception
You can receive the atomic clock signal manually. In Normal display, press and hold the [V] button over 3 seconds to receive the atomic clock signal manually. The tower icon is flashing and will start atomic clock reception. When the atomic clock si- gnal is received successfully, the time and date will be updated. During atomic clock reception, press [V] key over to exit atomic clock reception.

Manually setting

  • Press and hold [ MODE] over 2 seconds to enter time set mode, The setting value will be flashing
  • Press [V] and [ UP ]to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly.
  • Press [MODE] to confirm and move to the next item.

Setting sequence:

  • Year
  • Month
  • Date
  • Weekday language
  • 12/24 Hour Format
  • Hour
  • Minutes
  • 12/-12 time zone
  • Pressure value
  • Pressure unit
  1. When Year flashes, press [V] or [UP] button to adjust the Year. Press [MODE] to select Month.
  2. When Month flashes, press [V] or [UP] button to adjust the Month. Press [MODE] to select Date.
  3. When Date flashes, press [V] or [UP] button to adiust the Date. Press [MODE] to select Weekday language
  4. When Weekday language flashes, press [V] or [UP] button to select the weekday language Press [MODE] to select 12/24 hour format.
  5. When 12/24 hour format flashes, Press [V] or [UP] button to select 12/24 hour format. Press [MODE] to select Hour.
  6. When Hour flashes, press [V] or [UP] button to adjust the Hour. Press [MODE] 1 to select Minute.
  7. When Minute flashes, press [V] or [UP] button to adjust the Minute. Press [MODE] to select Time zone.
  8. When Time zone flashes, press [V] or [UP] button to select the Time zone. DCF should choose time zone 00. Press [MODE] to select Pressure value.
  9. When Pressure Value flashes, press [V] or [UP] button to adjust the Pressure value. Press [MODE] to select Pressure unit.
  10. When Pressure unit flashes, press [V] or [UP] button to select the Pressure unit. Press [MODE]  to save all settings and exit the setting.
    Note: if there is no valid operation within 20 seconds, it will automatically return to the normal display mode from the setting mode.

Set alarm time

  1. In Normal display or Alarm time mode, Press and hold [ALARM] over 2 seconds to enter alarm time set mode, alarm 1 is starting to set.
  2. Alarm 1 hour is flashing, press [V] and [up] to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly.
  3. Press [ALARM] to confirm and move to set alarm 1 minute.
  4. Alarm 1 minute is flashing, press and release [V] and [up] to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly.
  5. Press [ALARM] to confirm and move to set alarm 2 Hour.
  6. Alarm 2 hour is flashing, press [V] and [up] to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly.
  7. Press [ALARM]  Eto confirm and move to set alarm 2 minute.
  8. Alarm 2 minute is flashing, press and release [V] and [up] to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly.
  9. Press [ALARM] to confirm and exit alarm setting.

Deactivate/activate alarm

  • In Normal display, press [V] button to deactivate or activate the alarm.
  • The sequence is alarm “W” on → alarm “S” on → alarm “W’ “S” on – alarm off.
  • The alarm icon will show when active.

Note:

  • To activate alarm 1 or alarm 2 separately, In normal display, press [ALARM], AL1/AL2 display and then press [V] to select alarm on/off.
  • Alarm “ W ” will be on automatically from Monday to Friday.
  • Alarm “ S ” is real time alarm, If want to use the alarm again need to turn on it manually every time.

Snooze

When the alarm rings, press [Snooze/Light] button to pause the alarm for 5 minutes. The alarm icon ( ) keep flashing. Press any button to pause the alarm.

Outdoor temperature alert

First you will arm the alert you wish to set, then you set the alert value. If an alert is not armed (OFF), you will skip that alert value and move to arm the next alert.

  1. To set the outdoor temperature alert, in Normal display, press and hold [ALERT], button, the Temperature highest icon shows and value flashes.
  2. Press [V] and [up]   to adjust the highest alert values. Hold to adjust quickly. Press [ALERT ] to select Min value.
  3. When Temperature lowest icon display and Value flashes, press [v] or [up] button to adjust the lowest alert value. Press [ALERT] to confirm and exit setting alert.
  4. In normal display, Press [ALERT] button to turn on/off temperature alert. When the corresponding alerts turn on, the alert icon will be shown on the display.

Alert sounds

  • When armed alert value is reached, station will alarm continuously for 1 minutes until out of alert range. During the sound alarm press any button to close the sound alarm but the icon will flashes.
  • The flashing alert icon will indicate the type of alert High or Low. Press any button to stop the alert from sounding.

Max/min temperature and humidity

All MAX/MIN temperature/ humidity records will reset automatically at 12:00 (midnight). For Normal display, press and release [MAX/MIN] to view:

  • Maximum indoor & outdoor temperature & humidity.
  • Minimum indoor & outdoor temperature & humidity.

in normal display, press [°C/°F] button to select temperature unit.

Pressure value reading

in normal display, press & MODE button to check the pressure history record for the past 12 hours.

Ice alert icon
When the outdoor temperature is lower than 4 °C, the ice alert icon will display.

Backlight

  • When operating with the power cable, there are 3 levels of brightness for adjustment. Press  [Snooze/Light] to adjust backlight.
  • When operating on batteries only, the backlight will come on shortly (about 10 seconds) when [Snooze/Light] is pressed.

Temperature trend arrows

The temperature trend indicators update with every 15 minutes and look back over the past hour.

  • Change in temperature (2°F/1°C).

Note: when the temperature changes no more than 1°C within 1 hour, then no trends icon will display.

  • Temperature has risen > 1°C/2°F in the past hour
  • Temperature has not changed more than 1°C/2°F in the past hour
  • Temperature has fallen < 1°C/2°F in the past hour

Humidity trend arrows

The humidity trend indicators update with every 15 minutes and look back over the past hour.

  • Change in humidity (3% RH).

Note: when the humidity changes no more than 3% within 1 hour, then no trends icon will display.

  • Humidity has risen > 3% in the past hour
  • Humidity has not changed more than 3% in the past hour
  • Humidity has fallen < 3% in the past hour

Weather forecasting icons

  • The weather station offers 4 forecast icons based on barometric pressure. Sunny, Partly sunny, Cloudy, Rainy
  • When the forecast would normally be light rain or heavy rain, and the outdoor tempera- ture is below 32°F, the forecast will show snow.

Low battery indication

  • Low battery icon [ ] by outdoor humidity, replace batteries in the sensor.
  • Low battery icon I by indoor humidity, replace batteries in the weather station.

Note: When there is low battery icon indication, it means the used battery level is low, it may affect normal functions. Please replace new alkaline batteries soon in order to keep normal function.

Search for outdoor sensor

  • In Normal display, press and hold [cH 1 button over 2 seconds to search the outdoor temperature/humidity sensor. Signal icon Tall flashes.
  • The weather station can support up to 3 sensors with different channels 1/2/3.
  • The signal strength icon will animate until the sensor(s) signal is received, or for 5 minutes if no signal available.

Qi charging
Place the mobile device on the Qi charging surface where the logo “Ql” engraved. Make sure the center of the device is aligned over the centerof the Qi charging surface. The Charging process starts once the mobile device is correctly placed. The LED indicator lights up blue when charging is active. Protective covers of the mobile device may interfere with the charging process. In this case, the mobile device must be removed from the protective cover.

Note: The charging power is up to 10 W, depending on the power adapter used. Please use the included adaptor. The product only supports devices with Qi wireless techno.

Charging trouble shooting

  1. What should I do if the LED indicator of the product is not lit during starting process (Boot phase)?
    • Check whether the adaptor is connected stably.
  2. What should I do if the mobile device does not get charging?
    • Check that the mobile device have Qi wireless charging technology.
    • Check the mobile device is placed horizontally on the center position of the charging pad.
    • Check that no foreign object blocking the charging.
    • Check whether the mobile device is removed from the protective cover.
  3. What should I do ifthe LED indicator flashes red?
    This indicates a rault condition occurred. Disconnect the adaptor connection immedia- tely. Check that no foreign object blocking the charging. Let the product cool down for a while and try to use it again.

Factory restart

If there is malfunction, the Factory Restart is a great way to return your station to “out of the box” condition.

  1. Remove all power (batteries and AC-AC adaptor) from outdoor sensors and weather station.
  2. Leave both units without power for 10 minutes. (very important).
  3. Follow the operation “3. FIRST TIME TO USE” to start the pair the sensor.

Care and maintenance

  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix Alkaline, Standard, Lithium, or Rechargeable batteries.
  • Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for intended use.
  • Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.
  • Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
  • Ensure the batteries are installed with correct polarity (+ and -).
  • Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extended period of time.
  • Promptly remove expired batteries.
