Product Usage Instructions
Installation of the Ladder
- Find a suitable place to attach the escape ladder, e.g. near a window or exit.
- Avoid fragile or loose materials and choose sturdy and stable fastening points.
- Stick the supplied escape ladder icon sticker near the escape ladder.
- The maximum window sill width is 38 cm. Measure this first before use!
- Check this escape ladder regularly for defects.
Emergency Preparedness:
- Discuss with all occupants of the building how to use the ladder.
- Practice the use of this escape ladder with all occupants.
- Make sure everyone knows the location of the escape ladder.
- Place a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector near the escape ladder.
- Make sure there is an escape ladder on each floor:
- 1st floor: 4.5 meters
- 2nd floor: 7 meters
- 3rd floor: 10 meters
- 4th floor: 16 meters
- 5th floor: 20 meters
Use:
- Take the ladder out of the box and open the ladder hook.
- Attach both hooks over the windowsill (max. width 38 cm).
- Hang the ladder part on the outside of the wall.
- Now pull off the black attachment strap (do not do this when exercising).
- You can now descend.
Descend Safely:
- Hold the ladder firmly with both hands.
- Make sure you always have three points of contact (e.g. two hands and one foot).
- Keep your body as close to the escape ladder as possible.
- A maximum of 3 people can be on the escape ladder at the same time.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Only use this SAVS® escape ladder for emergencies and not for other purposes.
- This escape ladder can be loaded with a maximum of 3 people at the same time (max. 450 kg)
- This ladder is designed for single use only
- It is recommended to replace this ladder after 5 years
- Never store this ladder in direct sunlight or above 50 degrees Celsius

USE
