Safety information

Please read the safety instructions carefully before using the product for the first time and keep the instructions for future reference.

  1. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
  2. Warning: This product includes lithium polymer batteries.
  3. Keep product out of the reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.
  4. Product operating and storage temperature is from 0 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. Under and over this temperature might affect the function.
  5. Never open the product. Touching the inside electrics can cause electric shock. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel.
  6. Do not expose to heat, water, moisture, direct sunlight!
  7. Please protect your ears against loud volume. Loud volume can damage your ears and risk in hearing loss.
  8. Bluetooth wireless technology operates within a range of about 10 m (30 feet). The maximum communication distance may vary depending on the presence of obstacles (people, metal objects, walls, etc.) or the electromagnetic environment.
  9. Microwaves emitting from a Bluetooth device may affect the operation of electronic medical devices.
  10. The unit is not waterproof. If water or foreign objects enter the unit, it may result in fire or electric shock. If water or a foreign object enters the unit, stop use immediately.
  11. Only charge with supplied USB cable.
  12. Do not use non original accessories together with the product as this can make the product functionality abnormal.

Product Description

  1. [ ] : Press to switch between light effect 1/ 2/ 3/ 4/ 5; turn off horn light; turn off knob light. Among them, light effect 3 features a changing lamp that changes with the rhythm of playing music, except when the speaker works in AUX mode (the light does not change).
  2. [EQ]: Press to switch between two kinds of sound effects: EQ0 (default indoor sound effect); EQ1 (outdoor sound effect).
  3. [ ]: Press to switch between accompaniment and vocal audio.
  4. [ ] : In music mode, press to switch between Repeat One and Repeat All.
  5. [V-/V+ Volume control knob]: Rotate to the left to decrease volume, and to the right to increase volume.
  6. [M]: Press to switch operating mode: BT mode, TF card mode, U disk mode, AUX mode.
  7. [ ] : Press to play previous song or select previous radio station; press and hold to rewind.
  8. [ ] : Press to play next song or select next radio station; press and hold to fast forward.
  9. [ ] : Press to play/pause music.
  10. [AUX IN]: lnsert AUX line.
  11. [TF]: lnsert microSD card (TF card) to play MP3 music.
  12. [Charging lndicator]: Red light will be on when charging, and will be off when fully charged.
  13. [ON/OFF]: Power on/off.
  14. [MIC]: lnsert microphone.
  15. [USB]: lnsert U disk to play MP3 music.
  16. [DC 5V]: The charging jack for connecting external power supply.

Remarks: [EQ][ ][ ][ ][ ] , these functions do not work under AUX function.

CHARGING

The speaker must be recharged when switched off.

  1. Using the supplied USB cable, connect the end with the Micro USB jack to the micro-USB jack (16) of the speaker and the other end to the USB port of a PC or USB charger (5V, 1A, not included).
  2. The LED indicator will light up red to indicate the charging status of the speaker; when fully charged, the LED indicator will turn off.

BASIC OPERATIONS

To turn on the speaker, slide the power button (13) to ON.
Press the MODE button (6) to choose from:

  1. Bluetooth mode.
  2. AUX mode. When an AUX cable is inserted into the AUX port (10), the speaker enters AUX mode.
  3. USB Mode. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port (15), the speaker will start playing songs automatically.
  4. Micro SD mode. Insert a microSD card into the micro SD port (11), the speaker will start playing music automatically.

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME

  • Rotate the knob (5) to decrease or increase the volume.

AUX IN

  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Connect the AUX cable to the AUX IN jack (10) of the speaker and the other end to the external device.
  3. Start playing the contents from the external device.

USING MICRO SD CARD/USB DEVICE

  1. Turn on the speaker.
  2. Insert a microSD card into the microSD port (11) or insert a USB flash drive into the USB port (15).
  3. The speaker will start playing music automatically.
  4. Press the Previous Track button (7) to play the Previous track, press and hold to rewind; press the Next track button (8) to play the next track, press and hold to fast forward.
  5. Press the button (9) to pause or resume the playback.

Note: The display will show the playback time.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

PAIRING DEVICES

  1. Place the speaker next to the Bluetooth device to be paired.
  2. Turn on the speaker and press the MODE button (6) to enter the Bluetooth mode.
  3. Follow the instructions of your device to search for the speaker.
  4. The speaker name is “Denver BTV-230” and will be displayed on your Bluetooth device list, select it and enter the password of “0000” if required.
  5. When paired successfully, you can stream music from your Bluetooth device to the speaker.

BUTTONS IN BLUETOOTH MODE

  1. Press the Previous Track button (7) to play the previous track, press and hold to rewind; press the Next Track button (8) to play the next track, press and hold to fast forward.
  2. Press the power button (9) to pause or resume the playback.

TRUE WIRELESS STEREO BLUETOOTH CONNECTION (TWS FUNCTION FOR TWO SPEAKERS)

  1. Power on two speakers and they enter Bluetooth mode by default;
  2. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone or other Bluetooth device. Then press and hold the MODE button of either speaker, both speakers will be connected after a few seconds;
  3. On your mobile phone, turn on Bluetooth and search for the “Denver BTV-230”;
  4. Select the name “Denver BTV-230” to connect;
  5. The Bluetooth speaker will emit a voice prompt when connected, then you can enjoy playing music from two speakers;
  6. Press and hold the M button again if you want to quit the TWS function.

MICROPHONE FUNCTION
The unit supports using a wired microphone (not included). Insert a wired microphone into MIC port (14), then you can begin to use.Please notice – All products are subject to change without any notice. We take reservations for errors and omissions in the manual.
