Machine Identification
To identify your specific machine model, refer to page 1 of the manual.

App Installation

  1. Sign up and login to the app (see pages 4-9).
  2. Install the app on your device (see page 5).
  3. Grant location permission to the app (see page 6).

Home Menu
The home menu provides access to various features of the app. Familiarize yourself with the home screen, using other machines, and notifications (see pages 13-15).

Machine Status
Monitor the status of your machine using the app. Check battery level, fuel level, coolant temperature, parking brake, shuttle direction, PTO, air cleaner, transmission oil temperature, urea level, and engine hours (see pages 22-26).

Machine Management
Manage your machine through the app by accessing management features, emergency notifications, error information, consumables, and replacement history (see pages 27-30).

Work Sheet
Use the work sheet feature to track your work and view statistical charts of usage, including monthly usage statistics (see pages 31-34).

Menu (More)
Access additional features such as user profile, account deletion, login settings, notices, implement settings, geofence registration, emergency contacts, automatic engine off, customer service, application information, and logout (see pages 36-45).

HOW TO IDENTIFY SPECIFIC MACHINE MODEL
Follow the below to identify your specific machine model name.

SIGN UP & LOGIN

  • Use the keyword of ‘mytym’ to search the app ‘MYTYM – SAM (Telematics)’ on Google Play or App Store.

  • After installation, launch the app by tapping ‘MYTYM – SAM’ icon on the home screen or app drawer.
    LOCATION PERMISSION

  • Allowance to access the device’s location is required to use the application for various functions.

While using the app
Access to the device’s location is allowed while using the app. No need to allow again in next time use.

Only this time
Access to the device’s location is allowed only this time. A pop-up window appears again in next time use.

Don’t allow
Access to the device’s location is denied. The application will shut down immediately.

  • Tap the ‘Permissions’① to change the policy of permission to access to device’s location.

ID
At least 5 characters with capital, lower case or numbers only.

Password
At least 8 characters combined with capital, lower case and special letter. A password must include three types of capital, lowercase, and special letters.

Required field

  • Name
  • Fill it with an alphabet.
  • Cellular Number
  • Fill it in with your current cellular phone number.
  • Address
  • Fill it in with your resident ad-dress.

Optional field

Log in using your ID and password. When the “Registration of your machine is required” message is shown, contact your dealer to register your machine.

After sign-up, your machine is required to be registered via an authorized dealer.

SET PIN CODE

Once you finished the registration of your machine, you can set a PIN code for quick login. Initial login should be carried out with ID and password, you can log in with the PIN code after the PIN code is registered.

Input 6 digits of a PIN code twice.

  • You can log in with 6 digit PIN code once you set it.
  • Input the correct name and cellular number that are registered when you signed up to find your ID.
  • Input the correct ID, name, and cellular number which are registered when you signed up to reset a password.

To complete reset a password process, input a new password and ‘verification code’① which is sent to your cellular phone. ⚠ Modify cellular phone number when it is changed on the profile menu.
Contact your dealer in case you forget your registered cellular phone number.

  • You can select machine to connect to your cellular phone among machines already registered.
  • Tap the ‘set’① icon to change the machine name.
  • Notifications are categorized by emergency, general, error, re-placement of consumables, and notice.

Emergency notification

  • Rollover
  • Geofence

General notification

  • Low voltage of battery below 11.5V
  • Telematics communication termination in case of low voltage battery below 11.0V or 5 days passed after the engine off. (Telematics communication will be automatically connected after the engine off.)
  • Battery disconnection in case battery cables are disconnected or the battery disconnection switch is on.
  • While telematics communication is terminated or the battery is disconnected, serval functions such as remote start/stop, geofence do not work.
  • Standard values for notifications of low voltage battery and telematics communication termination can be changed with-out notice due to product improvement.
  • Push message notifications can be ON or OFF on push message setting.

  • Select categories of push messages to receive. Push messages will be delivered whether the app is running or not.
  • A Photo of the machine which is connected to your cellular phone is shown.
  • You can check whether your cellular phone and machine is connected or not with ‘connection status icon.

Connected
Red-colored ‘Connected’ is shown when the machine is connected from your cellular phone.

Not connected

  • Gray-colored ‘Not connected’ is shown when the machine is disconnected from your cellular phone.
  • Please confirm that ‘Connected’ is shown up be-fore using the app.
  • While the engine is off, ‘Engine Button’① is in black color with the text ‘ENGINE START’. Re-mote engine start can be executed with PIN code.
  • While the engine is on, ‘Engine Button’① is in red color with the text ‘ENGINE STOP’.

HOME MENU
Remote engine start/stop only works under the conditions below.

Remote engine stop works only in case that engine started remotely. But once the machine get into operation mode, remote engine stop won’t work. Check the below conditions for entering operation mode.

Engine stops automatically on following events if the machine is not in operation mode.

  • Icons of machine status can be displayed up to 3 items. Tap ‘setting’① icon to choose items to display.

  • Tap ‘More’① icon to view all machine statuses. Displayed machine status items may vary on the machine model.
  • Please refer to the chapter ‘Status of machine’ for more detail.

  • Tap ‘Route’① icon to find a route from your position to the machine. In case that Google Maps is not installed on your cellular phone, the app will open Google Play
  • Store or App Store to download Google Maps application.

STATUS OF MACHINE

MACHINE STATUS

Displayed machine status items may vary on the machine model. Following machine status items are displayed.

  1. Battery voltage
  2. Fuel level
  3. Coolant temperature
  4. Parking brake
  5. Shuttle direction
  6. Air cleaner
  7. PTO
  8. Transmission oil temperature
  9. Urea level
  10. Engine hours

⚠ Items updated real-time: Parking brake, shuttle direction, PTO, air cleaner
⚠ Items updated every 1 minute: Battery, fuel level, coolant temperature, transmission oil temperature, urea level
⚠ Items updated every 1 hour: Engine hours

fig-23 Red: 11.5V or less: When battery icon becomes red, the battery is required to be charged.

FUEL LEVEL

Fuel level icon shows the current fuel level. Red icon: 15% or less When fuel level icon becomes red, fill the fuel tank with fuel.

COOLANT TEMPERATURE

Coolant temperature icon shows current temperature of coolant. OFF is shown when the engine is off instead of numbers. Red icon: Coolant is over-heated.
When coolant temperature icon becomes red, the coolant is overheated. Check followings.

  1. Coolant level insufficient
  2. Radiator fin clogged
  3. Fan belt tension

PARKING BRAKE

Parking brake icon shows the current status of the parking brake.

SHUTTLE DIRECTION

PTO

PTO icon shows the current status of the PTO shaft.

AIR CLEANER

Air cleaner icon shows the current air cleaner condition. Red icon: Air cleaner is clogged. When air cleaner icon becomes red, perform a cleaning of the air cleaner.

Transmission oil temperature icon shows the current temperature of the transmission oil. OFF is shown when the engine is off instead of numbers.

Red icon: 32℉ or less Engine idling is required in a condition of cold weather.

UREA LEVEL Urea level icon shows the cur-rent urea level.
Red icon: 25% or less When urea level icon becomes red, fill the urea quickly. Engine power will be reduced when a level of urea is under 10%

ENGINE HOURS

Engine hours icon shows the total time of usage.

MACHINE MANAGEMENT

MANAGEMENT

In the management menu, you are able to see emergency notifications, check error-han-dling situations, and manage consumables.

Emergency notification

  • Rollover
    A notification will be delivered when the machine is in rollover.

  • Geofence
    A notification will be sent when the machine exits of geofence.

Error
  • Error
    A notification will be delivered when trouble occurs.

  • Maintenance
    Lifespan of consumables is categorized in change /check / good.

EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION

You can see a history of rollover or geofence. Push message will be delivered in case of emergency notifica-tion.

ERROR

A list of troubles or errors that occurred and aftercare situations of them is displayed.

CONSUMABLES

Lifespans of consumables are displayed with marks of change, check, and good. Push message will be delivered when consumables are in need of replacement.

REPLACEMENT HISTORY

Tap ‘history’① icon on the maintenance menu to show the replacement history of consumables.

WORK SHEET

  • The day with work (PTO/Haul) is shown with red text ‘Work’, and the day without work is shown with gray text ‘Drive.

  • Tap a day to show the movement and work path of the machine.

    • Black dot: Drive path
    • Red dot: Work path
  • Time
    Total time of usage of machine on selected day.

  • Fuel per hour
    Fuel mileage on selected day.

  • Fuel usage
    Total used fuel on selected day.

  • Time worked
    Total time of working on selected day. (PTO + Haul)

  • Speed worked
    Average working speed on selected day.

  • Area worked
    Total movement × Implement width on selected day.

⚠ Work data is calculated only in certain conditions. (ex. Engine load, PTO)
⚠ Area worked is not calculated when the implement width is un-set or zero.
⚠ Drive and work path are displayed as dots every one 1 minute, not a line figure.
⚠ Data may not be accurate depending on the GPS situation.

Menu (more) contains following items.

USER PROFILE

Personal user information and details of the service plan currently subscribed are displayed. You are able to modify some personal information such as E-mail address and cellular phone number.
The free service of telematics is provided for 5 years from the day of purchase. Renewal of the service plan is required after a free service period, and the service fee will be charged.
The current machine location, find a way to your machine, work sheet and other services require the agreement of Terms and Service and Location Per-mission to use.
The application will shut down automatically if you disagree to allow to use device’s location service.

DELETE ACCOUNT

Tap ‘delete’① to remove all user information from the telematics service. Once the account is deleted, all user information cannot be recovered. Deleted ID cannot be reused or created.

LOGIN SETTING

  • Change Password
    You can change the current password.

  • Reset PIN
    You can reset the PIN code. The identification process is required.

  • Change PIN
    You can change the current PIN code.

  • Auto Login
    The login process will be skipped when Auto Login is ac-tivated.

NOTICE

You can check the notices from dealer or customer service.

NOTICE (DETAIL)

  • Tap an item of the notice list to see more detail.

  • Register or modify the implement items such as an implement name and width. The numeric value of the implement width will affect the accuracy of the work sheet. Working area is not calculated when the implement width is 0 or not set.

  • You can set geofence to get notification in case of the machine exit of specific area. Tap Deactivate① icon not to get notification.

  • Set a radius of geofence area beginning of the current position. You can set several geofence, but only one geofence can be activated. ⚠ Do not set geofence too narrow. Notifications can be delivered excessively.
    ⚠ geofence notification will not be delivered if geofence is unset or deactivated.

  • Tap an item on geofence list to view the detail of it on the map.

  • When a rollover occurs, an emergency SMS message will be sent to the emergency con-tact, dealer, and customer service. Up to 3 Emergency contacts can be registered on each model.

REGISTER EMERGENCY CONTACT

  • Tap ‘Register’① icon to register emergency contact on each machine.
  • Remote engine start has the safety function of the auto shut engine off in case the operator does not manipulate any control of the machine within the time you set. (This function will affect from next remote engine start.)

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Tap a customer service icon to make a call to your dealer or service shop.
  • Information related to the app is shown such as version, update date and open source licenses.

How to update the app

  1. Notification will be delivered when the update is available.
  2. Tap OK button to move Google Play Store or App Store to update the application.

How to update TBOX
TBOX will check and update to the latest version automatically when it boots up. Application UI (User Interface) may change due to an update.
