Installation Guide
GPDT15 Dimmer Power Controller
- TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK, OR DEATH: TURN OFF POWER at a circuit breaker or fuse and verify that power is off before installing a Levven product.
- Install and/or use Levven products in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations.
- Leven power controllers are to be mounted to listed electrical junction boxes of the suitable size to satisfy the electrical code in your area. We recommend using plastic junction boxes for best performance or if that is not possible, ensuring the power controller antenna is sticking out of a metal junction box. This recommendation does not apply to switches.
- If you are unsure about any of these instructions, consult a qualified electrician.
Wiring
Dimmer controllers are to be mounted in junction boxes of a suitable size to
satisfy the local electrical code.| Connect the white wires from the power,
load, and power controller together.
Connect the black power wire to the black wire of the power controller.|
Connect the black load wire to the red wire of the power controller.
Groupon
Grouping controllers together permits one switch to operate multiple
controllers or add Levven Q to access controllers from a mobile device. Only
controllers with no previously saved group or pairing can join a group.
NOTE: If there is no grouping request received within 60 seconds, the
controller will quit the grouping procedure.
Press and release the pair button on the first controller to initiate
grouping. This controller’s LED will blink green.| Press and release the pair
button on the new controller being added to the group. This controller’s LED
will blink green.
Both LEDs on each controller will start blinking red and green to confirm a
signal is received.| Press and release the pair button on the first controller
again to complete a grouping. Both LEDs will flash green 3 times to confirm
the grouping.
Pairing
Pairing a switch to a controller establishes a connection to send on, off and
dim commands.
NOTE: If there is no pairing request received within 60 seconds, the
controller will quit the pairing procedure.
Press and release the pair button on the controller to initiate pairing. This
controller’s LED will blink green.| Squeeze and release both ends of the
switch simultaneously.
The LED on the controller will start blinking red and green to confirm a
signal is received.| Press and release the pair button on the controller again
to complete the pairing. Its LED will flash green 3 times to confirm pairing.
If pairing is unsuccessful, the LED will flash red 3 times. Please restart
from Step 1.

Setting minimum and maximum brightness levels

Set the dimmer’s maximum brightness level
a. Press and hold the up/on button on the switch to increase the light’s brightness.
b. If the light flickers, release the up/on button. Press and hold down/off on the switch to dim the light down to the point where no flickering occurs.
c. Double-click the pairing button on the GPDT1 5 controller. This sets the highest brightness.
d. The GPDT15 controller’s LED indicator will flash green to confirm the setting is saved. -
Set the dimmer’s minimum brightness level
a. Press and hold the down/off button on the switch to decrease the light’s brightness.
b. If the light flickers, release the down/off button. Press and hold up/on the switch to brighten the light up to the point where no flickering occurs.
c. Double-click the pairing button on the controller. This sets the lowest brightness.
d. The GPDT15 controller’s LED indicator will flash green to confirm the setting is saved. -
Reset the dimmer’s max/min brightness level to factory default
a. Triple-click the button on the GPDT15 controller. NOTE: This will not clear any pairings or groupings in the controller’s memory. It only resets the brightness max/min settings to factory defaults.
