Product Description
The K&F SPECTRA 212i wall-bracket set includes various components that can be
combined in different ways to allow for mounting or suspending K&F SPECTRA
212i speakers to/from walls or ceilings.
The wall-bracket set includes the following components:
- Wall/Ceiling Bracket
- Tilt Adapter
- Swivel Adapter
The wall/ceiling bracket is also separately available.
Wall/Ceiling Bracket
The wall/ceiling bracket allows for stationary installation of single
speakers to walls or ceilings with adjustable directivity. The speaker must be
placed vertically for wall mounting. Ceiling installation can be done right to
the ceiling or in a flying configuration. Ceiling or flying installations can
only be made horizon-tally.
Tilt Adapter
You can use the tilt adapter in combination with the wall/ceiling bracket to
mount the speaker vertically to a wall and tilt it in 5-degree increments from
–5° to –30°.
Swivel Adapter
To tilt the speaker and swivel it sideways at the same time, use the swivel
adapter. It allows for swiveling a tilted speaker while keeping the pitch axis
in parallel to the floor or ceiling. Also, using a swivel adapter is also
visually more appealing compare to swiveling on a wall/ceiling brack-et.
Intended Use
The wall-bracket set (including the optional tilt adapter and wall/ceiling
bracket) is designed for use with K&F SPECTRA 212i speakers only. No other use
is permitted. For Suspended installation (ceiling/flying) using the
wall/ceiling bracket, the speaker must be used horizontally. Speaker stands
are not permitted. Wall installation must be carried out vertically when using
the tilting adapter and/or the wall/ceiling bracket.
Also, be sure to use accessories to the SPECTRA 212i speaker system for
stationary indoor installations only. The system is not designed for repeated
assembly, reconfiguration, disassembly, or transport.
Any use not described in this User’s Guide is not an intended use.
Unauthorized changes to the product are not permitted.

Safety Instructions
Safety Instructions for Suspending the Speakers
Suspended loads pose a safety risk.
- Have all installation works including suspension as well as wall or ceiling mount performed by qualified event technicians or appropriately trained persons.
- Only qualified technicians are permitted to perform the installation steps. Be sure to use personal protective equipment at all times.
- Be sure to have all works carried out by untrained hands checked and approved by a qualified expert.
- The technicians installing the speaker on site are responsible for and guarantee safe setup and use.
- Installing and dismounting the speaker system requires at least two persons and a suitable lift for carrying and handling.
- Before installing, check the stability, strength, and materials of walls, ceilings, and boarding. For example, always use appropriate wall anchors for panels and check for sufficient strength.
- Note that the suspension points on the hall ceiling (i.e. shackles, attachment points, or chain hoists) must comply with the DGUV regulations 17 (BGV C1) or similar locally applicable accident-control standards. The maximum load must have been certified by an authorized expert.
- Be sure to tighten all bolts and screws to the specified torque.
- Unless otherwise stated, use only KLING & FREITAG original parts for mounting the speakers. Never use other parts (in particular, parts not made by KLING & FREITAG).
- Make sure all fittings used are suitable for the task at hand and meet all relevant safety requirements.
- ensure that all connections are secured against coming loose and that only authorized, statically tested and correctly sized supports, mounting equipment, wire ropes and chains are used.
