Frequently Asked Questions
Do they enclose the ears or press against them? I can’t tell how big they are.
With a center hole inside the padding of only about 1 & 3/4’s inches around, these do not come close to enclosing my ears.
Will these work well outside brisk walk or running with an iPod?
We only use these on a computer, so I’m not sure how they’ll function with movement. I can see them maybe working on a brisk walk, but they might be shaky for a run.
I have severe hearing loss. Cannot hear video forwards at all on my HP laptop. Will these headphones help with this problem?
Get a better phone some phones are crap I have hearing loss on buy my brain makes up the difference until it does not I crack the volume. Videos drawn data. Get away from people!!!!! and background noise!
Is there an on/off button included with the in-cord volume control?
There is no on and off button.
Are they comfortable? comfort is of prime concern. maybe i should just get in-ear so there is no pressure on my ears.
If your head size is even a bit larger than medium, these will not fit comfortably. While they can adjust up and down, the over-the-head piece itself is a single rigid plastic piece with extremely little give. Also, the speakers will not fit comfortably over your ears unless your ears measure less than 1 3/4″.
Will this work with my Kindle fire?
The jack on these is cheap and may or may not work. They don’t work with my IPOD, they do work with my son’s IPOD, go figure.
Are the ear pad covers made of leather or something else?
Seems to be something like parachute cloth Not leather, but nice and comfortable.
Will they fold up small enough to go into a shirt pocket?
They really fold up into a compact package but not quite small enough for most pockets. Maybe baggy cargo pants.
Do they work in a portable cd player?
The connector fits my computer and my phone so I assume yes
Microphone does Ito have one?
It doesn’t have a microphone
If this works with other devices Why does it say for iPod on the
package?
They work with any device that has a 3.5mm jack port.
Will they work for a galaxy note 3?
This pair has a standard 3.5mm connector, so yes, they should work.
What is the length of cord?
The cord on mine measures about 56 inches.
Sorry to have to ask this but what size plug does this use. Makes it easier to decide.
It is the small size that can be used on some phones. Not newer apple phones. Good for portable CD players and radios.
Does this product have a plug in that is 3.5mm to use with a MacBook Air?
