Product Usage Instructions

To maintain optimal performance of your Pre-Filter HEPA Activated Carbon Air Purifier, please follow these usage instructions:

Accessing and Changing the Pre-Filter and HEPA:

The pre-filter and HEPA are easy to access and change. Follow the steps below:

Make sure the device is turned off and unplugged.
Locate the filter housing on the unit.
To remove the pre-filter, unlock the filter housing and carefully take out the pre-filter.
To wash the pre-filter, gently rinse it under running water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
To replace the HEPA, unlock the filter housing and remove the old HEPA filter.
Insert the new HEPA filter into the filter housing, making sure it is properly aligned.
Lock the filter housing back into place.

Maintenance Schedule

To ensure effective air purification, it is important to follow the maintenance schedule:

Wash the pre-filter every six (6) months.
Replace the HEPA filter every two (2) years.

Note: The durable powder coat finished filter housing is completely sealed once locked into place, ensuring efficient filtration.

Replacement Filter Kit

If you need to purchase replacement filters, use the Part# FL-HEPA Replacement Filter Kit. The kit includes 1x HEPA filter and 3x pre-filters. For any further assistance or inquiries, refer to the product’s documentation with Doc# SPEC-0590 Rev B or contact our customer support.

Microcon® 600 whole home HEPA advanced air filtration system is installed in your HVAC or air handling system to provide 99.97% airborne particulate reduction without impacting air flow, static pressure or unit sizing. This fan powered, by-pass HEPA system offers available space and power for the optional installation of RGF’s REME-HALO® or HALO-LED™ to provide the ultimate indoor air quality solution. Microcon® 600 removes dust, pet dander, pollen and allergens. With the optional addition of REME® Cell technology, Microcon® 600 also reduces bacteria, viruses, odors and VOCs throughout the entire home.

Why Use RGF’s Microcon® 600?

Microcon® whole home HEPA (H13 rated) air filter systems can be installed into any existing commercial or residential HVAC system to provide 99.97% airborne particulate reduction without impacting air flow, static pressure or HVAC system sizing. Installation requires no costly electrical or mechanical alterations to the HVAC system and the unique design offers a knockout and power for optional installation of RGF’s REME-HALO® or HALO-LED™ active air purification systems.*

Microcon® 600 offers two-stage filtration contained and protected in a durable steel box. In stage-one, a foam pre-filter captures large airborne particulate matter. The second stage HEPA (H13) filter traps more of the harmful and irritating ultrafine particulate like bacteria, pet dander, dust mites, pollen and smoke. When installed with the optional REME® Cell technology actively reduces airborne bacteria, viruses, mold, odor and VOCs throughout the entire air conditioned space. The pre-filter and HEPA are easy to access and change. The pre-filter should be removed and washed every six (6) months and HEPA be replaced every two (2) years. Once locked into place, the durable powder coat finished filter housing is completely sealed.
