• Remove nails, metal, or other conductive objects from the installation surface before attaching the strip lights, as it may cause short-circuiting.

• Do not install the strip lights near any heat sources.

• Do not allow children to install the strip lights alone.

• Avoid installing the strip lights near potentially dangerous sources (e.g., candles, liquid-filled objects).

This product can largely improve your experience of using the monitor by picking colors from the screen content and sync to the strip lights installed on the monitor’s back through Govee Desktop, building an immersive lighting atmosphere for you!

What You Get

At a Glance

1. Preparation Before Installing:
   a. Unbox the strip lights and check all items listed in the packing list.
   b. Power on the strip lights and check whether they light up.

2. Clean the surface with the provided alcohol pad where you plan to install the strip lights.
   

3. Press to ensure the strip lights are fixed firmly on the back of the monitor during the installation.
   After installation, use the provided cable clips to fix the ends of each strip light and the power cable.
   

4. Connect the adapter with the control box and plug it into the power socket.
   

Pairing Your Device with the Govee Home App

What you need:

• A Wi-Fi router supporting the 2.4GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands. 5GHz is not supported.

1. Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).

2. Turn on the Bluetooth in your smartphone.
3. Open the app, tap the”+” icon in the top right corner and search “H6609”.
4. Tap the device icon and follow the onscreen instructions to complete pairing.

Connect the device to Govee Desktop to start color picking

1. Download and install Govee Desktop.
   Download here: https://www.govee.com/download/desktop (This software is only applicable to Windows 10 and Windows 11 .)

2. Login with your Govee Home account.

3. Make sure your computer and the device has connected to the same internet. The device will be found by Govee Desktop automatically.

4. Add the device to the DreamView Group and open the group. The device will then start to pick colors.

Controlling the Device with Your Voice

1. Open the app, then tap the device icon to enter detail page.
2. Tap the setting icon in the top right corner.
3. Select Using Guidance and follow on-screen instructions to control the device using your voice.

Troubleshooting

a. The strip light does not work/is malfunctioning:

• Check if the adapter used is the one provided.
• Power the strip light off then on. Make sure the adapter and the control box have been powered on.
• Long press and hold the power button on the control box and quickly press the middle button four times to restore factory settings.

b. The strip light does not display the full selected color/Some light beads do not light up:

• Please contact Govee Support Team.

c. Cannot connect to Govee Home App:

• Do not skip Bluetooth connection in the app.

• Ensure Bluetooth on your smartphone has been turned on.

• Your smartphone may be incompatible with Govee Home
  App. Try using a different smartphone.

• Power the strip light and your smartphone Bluetooth off then on, then try again.

• Please ensure your smartphone is within 1 m/3.28ft of the strip light when connecting.

• Clear any obstructions that are between the strip light and your smartphone.

d. Cannot connect to Wi-Fi.

• Do not skip the Wi-Fi connecting steps in the app.
• 5GHz network is not supported. Please set the router to 2.4GHz and then reset it.
• Connect your smartphone to Wi-Fi and check whether the network works well.
• Make sure that you have entered the correct Wi-Fi name and password.
• Change your Wi-Fi password to a brief one. 8 numbers and letters are suggested.
• Connect your smartphone hotspot to the strip lights and check whether the router works with the strip lights.

e. Cannot connect to Alexa.

• Unplug every connective part of the strip lights then firmly reconnect them.
• Reset your smartphone Wi-Fi.
• Unplug the adapter port then re-plug it.
