J-SCALE JZ-115 Pocket Scale

Product Information
The JZ-115, JZ-230, and JZ-560 are precision digital scales designed for accurate weight measurement. They have different capacities and precision levels as mentioned below:

Product Usage Instructions
Operation

  1. Place the scale on a horizontal flat surface.
  2. Press the [ ] key to turn on the scale. Hold [ ] for 3 seconds to turn off.
  3. Wait until 0 is displayed.
  4. Place the object(s) on the weighing platform.
  5. Press the [ M ] key to toggle the weighing units.

Tare

  1. Turn on the scale as described above.
  2. Place the tare item on the platform.
  3. Press and wait until 0 is displayed.
  4. Add the net-weight item.
  5. Press again to return the scale to zero.

Calibration

JZ-115 Calibration

  1. Ensure the scale is off and place it on a stable surface.
  2. Press and hold [ M ] and buttons. Release when the display shows “CAL” and the AD value (a series of random numbers).
  3. Press again. The LCD display will flash the required calibration weight.
  4. Place the required calibration weight on the tray and wait for 3 seconds. The display will show “PASS”.
  5. Calibration is complete. Remove the weight and continue.

JZ-230 Calibration

  1. Ensure the scale is off and place it on a stable surface.
  2. Press and hold the [ M ] and [ ] buttons. Release when the display shows the AD value (a series of random numbers).
  3. Press [ ] again. The LCD display will show “CAL” and the required calibration weight.
  4. Place the required calibration weight on the tray and press The display will show “PASS”.
  5. Calibration is complete. Remove the weight and continue.

JZ-560 Calibration

  1. Ensure the scale is off and place it on a stable surface.
  2. Press and hold [ M ] andbuttons. Release when the display shows the AD value (a series of random numbers).
  3. Press again. The LCD display will show “CAL” and the required calibration weight.
  4. Place the required calibration weight on the tray and press The display will show “PASS”.
  5. Calibration is complete. Remove the weight and continue.

OPERATION

  1. Place the scale on a horizontal surface, and press the [ ] key to turn on the scale. Hold [ ] for 3 seconds to turn.
  2. Wait until “0” is displayed.
  3. Place the object(s) on the weighing platform.
  4. Press the [M] key to toggle the weighing units.

TARE

  1. Turn on the scale as described above.
  2. Place the “tare item” on the platform.
  3. Press [ ] and wait until “0” is displayed.
  4. Add the “net-weight-item”.
  5. Press [ ] again to return the scale to zero.

CALIBRATION

The JZ-115 requires a 100g weight to calibrate.

  1. Ensure the scale is placed on a stable surface.
  2. Press and hold the [M] and [ ] buttons. Release when the display shows “CAL” and the AD value (a series of random numbers).
  3. Press [ ] again, and the LCD display will ash the required calibration weight.
  4. Place the required calibration weight on the tray and wait 3 seconds. The display will show “PASS”.
  5. Calibration is complete. Remove the weight and continue.

The JZ-230 requires a 200g and JZ-560 requires a 500g weight to calibrate.

  1. Ensure the scale is placed on a stable surface.
  2. Press and hold the [M] and [ ] buttons. Release when the display shows the AD value (a series of random numbers).
  3. Press [ ] again, and the LCD display will show “CAL” and then the required calibration weight.
  4. Place the required calibration weight on the tray and press [ ]. The display will show “PASS”.
  5. Calibration is complete. Remove the weight and continue.
