Functions of indoor unit

A. Indoor unit ringtone setting (Disturbance-free mode will be activated after the mute function is enabled)

  1. Mute setting
    In the standby mode of the indoor unit, press the button “ ” first to turn on the screen, and then press the button “ ” to turn off the bell , making no effects on image display. If it is required to turn on the bell , press the button “ ”again in the monitor “ ” mode.

  2. Change ringtone
    In the standby mode of the indoor unit, press the button “ ” first to turn on the screen, and then press the button “ ” to activate the ringtone and enter “change ringtone” settings. The button “ ” is pressed once to change one ringtone. After a suitable ringtone is selected, stop pressing the button. The last ringtone will be the ringtone when the system is called by anyone.

  3. Ringtone volume adjustment
    In the standby mode of the indoor unit, press the button “ ” first to turn on the screen, and then press the button “ ” to activate the ringtone and enter “ringtone volume” settings. Press the button “ ” for two seconds each time to increase or decrease the volume progressively ,It has three levels, large, medium and small.
    • After power-off, all ringtone settings will be restored to factory settings

B. Instructions for doorbell operation

  1. When any visitor presses the call button on the outdoor unit ,the indoor unit screen will display the outdoor image in real time and the bell will ring;

  2. The indoor user may press the button “ ”to talk with the visitor;
    Note: Talking will be enabled by pressing the button“ ”for the first time and it will be disabled if the button is pressed again. The screen will be off automatically in 30 seconds if the calling is not answered;

  3. In the intercom mode, the indoor user may press the button“ ”to open the door

  4. In the intercom mode, the indoor user may press the button “ ”to finish talking or talking will finish automatically in 90 seconds;

  5. If it is required to resume talking after hang-up, press the button “ ”first and then the button “ ”to talk with the visitor;

  6. Intercom between indoor and indoor unit : 1 outdoor unit connects 2 or more indoor unit ( indoor and indoor unit need RVV5 wire connection ) press the button “ ****” to call other indoor unit, the bell rings to listen to the button “ ” to intercom, and then press the button “ ”to suspended call.

Installation Instructions

  1. Instructions for indoor unit installation
    A.Installation & location of indoor unit

At first, determine the location and height for installing the indoor unit; the reference height is 150-165cm  from the display screen center to ground.

B.Fix the indoor unit hanging board As shown in the figure: Take out the hanging board; open the package of screws to take out the rubber plug and screws.
1.Drill a hole, bore diameter: about 6mm
2.Fix the rubber plug at the above hole;
3.Fix the hanging board with screws.
C. Fix the indoor unit 1.Take out the indoor unit and power supply;
2.Insert the power plug and 5-core connector;
3.Horizontally hang the indoor unit on the fixed hanging board.

  1. Installation of outdoor unitAMOCAM 70W-M4-Tuya WiFi Wireless Doorbell Video Intercom System - Outdoor Unit6 It’s required to avoid installing the outdoor unit at any place with strong direct sunlight.
    At first, determine the location and height for installing the outdoor unit; the reference height is 145-160cm from the outdoor unit center to ground.

Wiring requirements

A . Extension cable parameter requirements

1-30 Meter RVV4*0.30
31-50 Meter RVV4*0.50
51-100 Meter RVV4*1.0

Colors and functions of wiring terminals:
Yellow — Video Blue — Audio
Black — Ground wire Red — VCC
Green— Intercom between the screens
Note: If the intercom function is not required between the screens, the call wiring don’t connection .
B. Separate wiring from AC

  1. It’s not allowed to arrange power supply wiring and AC or other high frequency wire in the same conduit, and the spacing distance shall be larger than 60cm;
  2. The power supply wire for the indoor unit may be laid with intercom wiring in the same conduit;
  3. Suggestion Rvv wire or Cat5/6 network cable connection ( 2 cores make 1 core connection ).

Introduction of testing method for connection between doorbell indoor unit and mobile phone APP
Precautions for installation and testing:
Before installing and using the product , it is recommended to use the original power adapter. The non-original power adapter may produce interference fringe in the screen or noise etc . Test the product within the range of effective Wi-Fi signal , if the installation distance is beyond the effective range of the router or the signal is weak , it may cause intercom or picture delay , stuttering and so on .

    ④Record: Click to record the video.
    ⑤Gallery:Store records of historical photos / videos.
    ⑥Playback:Call up historical visitor records.
    ⑦Unlock:Remote unlocking using app.
    (Note: only one account can be bound to one indoor unit. If it is bound by other users, the device must be removed first and then be bound, otherwise adding device will fail.)

  3. Add members
    ①Take out the mobile phone bound with the device, enter the APP, click “Me” in the lower right corner → select “Family management” → select the created family group → “Add members” → invite members to join through “WeChat”, and click on the members you want to invite to “Share” the invitation code.
    ②The invited members shall also download the “TuYaZhiNeng” APP and log in (without binding the device) → click “Me” in the lower right corner → select “Family management” → join a family → open WeChat to view the invitation code → return to the APP and enter the invitation code.
    ③On the bound mobile phone, click “Family management” → select family → view the newly added family members → the number marked with “Family owner” is the main number → you can click family members for editing → there are functions of “Family role” / “Remove from family”, etc.
