  • Nurzviy EV charger can also be wired for higher amperages. Consult all applicable codes for breaker and wire sizing requirements. The field-wiring terminal is rated to (221 F) 105’C and accepts a maximum of 16 mm2 (6 AWG) wire.

Maintenance

Power Distribution System (Optional)
The AC input of the charger is led out from the distribution box of the power grid, and the power shall be cut off before connection. The power on and power off steps are as follows:

  • Check whether the power supply voltage is normal.
  • Close the main switch of the distribution box, and then close the branch circuit switch in turn.
  • Pull each branch circuit switch first, and then pull the main switch of the distribution box. Pull the main brake in case of emergency.

Line System
Regularly check the input and output cables of the charger:

  • Weekly inspection: Check the cable to avoid heating or damage.
  • Monthly inspection: Check whether the cable is heated or damaged, whether the cable is stressed by external tension, and whether the cable is fixed reliably.
  • Annual inspection: Check whether the connection between the cable and the switch is tight, whether the grounding is reliable, whether the cable is heated or damaged, whether the insulation resistance of the cable meets the requirements, whether the sealing measures of the cable charger are intact, and whether the holes are sealed tightly.

Circuit Components
The following inspections shall be carried out by professional maintenance personnel:

  • Weekly inspection: Check whether the mechanical lock buckle of the charging gun is damaged and whether the connection is abnormal.
  • Quarterly inspection: Check whether there is ignition burning at the connection of charging gun wire core. Replace the parts in time if there is any potential danger.
  • Annual inspection: Use brushes and vacuum cleaners to remove dust from the box. Please be sure not to inhale dust into the components to avoid short circuit. Check all components of the box and replace parts in time if there is any potential danger.

Equipment Appearance
Check the appearance of the charger monthly to see if there are stains. Clean the charger shell in time.

Troubleshooting and Service

Troubleshooting

Fault Codes Diagnoses Solutions
AC Over voltage
  • The input voltage of AC power supply is too high
  • Internal charger fails to work.

|

  • If the voltage exceeds 265Vac for a short time, wait for the power grid to restore itself to the normal voltage range.
  • Check the background monitoring data and analyze them. If the voltage in this area is over-voltage for a long time, adjust the input over-voltage protection point to 265Vac by configuring software.

AC Under-voltage| The input voltage of the AC power supply is too low.| Check the background monitoring data and analyze them. If the voltage in this area is chronically under-voltage (175Vac), the protection point of input under- voltage can be adjusted to 90Vac at least by configuring software.
AC Overcurrent|

  • Excessive AC Input Current
  • Overloaded Protection

|

  • Immediately turn off the leakage/overcurrent protection circuit breaker of the power distribution box.
  • Check whether there is low impedance or short circuit between the output line of the charger.
Fault Codes Diagnoses Solutions
Overtemperature
  • The ambient temperature exceeds the required working temperature.
  • The input voltage of AC power supply is too high.
  • Internal charger fails to work.

| Check whether there are other heating devices nearby. Install the charger in an environment with low ambient temperature.
Excessive Leakage Current| High Leakage Current to the Ground|

  • Turn off the leakage/over current protection switches in the power distribution box immediately.
  • Check whether the output line of the charger is damaged or has low impedance to the ground.

Ground Fault| Improper Grounding of the Input/ Output or Reversed Connection of the Input UN|

  • Turn off the leakage/over current protection switches in the power distribution box immediately.
  • Check whether the input and output cables of the charger are grounded properly and reliably and whether the input UN cables are connected in correct sequence.
Fault Codes Diagnoses Solutions
Abnormal Communication (Internet Mode) Poor Background Communication of the
Charger.
  • Check whether the network cable is properly connected.
  • Check whether the charger is correctly configured in the background.

Connection Exception of Charging Gun| Connection Exception of Charging Gun CC/CP.| Check whether the charging gun is connected correctly and reliably.
Meter Unconnected| Metering Module Failure| Please stop to use the charger. Contact us or qualified electrical contractors.
Emergency Function Failure|

  • The emergency stop button is pressed.
  • The emergency stop button is damaged.

|

  • Press the resume emergency stop button again.
  • Replace the emergency stop button.

RFID Unconnected| Card Reader Failure|

  • Please check whether the power supply is restored after restart.
  • Replace the card reader.
