Follow these step-by-step instructions to fully assemble your new Volcon Brat. Make sure the assembly is complete and the battery is fully charged before riding for the first time.
- The first step is to leave the brat on the bottom of the box for added support. This allows us to attach the kickstand first before completely removing the brat from the box.
- Next, remove the small box underneath the bike that contains the parts and tools needed to fully assemble the brat. Open the box and unpack all the parts and the small tool kit that came with your Brat.
- Follow the kickstand installation instructions at the bottom of this page.
- Once the kickstand is attached, you can take the brat completely out of the box and prop it up on the kickstand.
- Next, be sure to remove all protective foam and zip ties from around the brat before proceeding with the rest of the assembly process.
KICKSTAND INSTALLATION
- Locate the kickstand bolt hole under the rear shock on the left (non-chain side) of the bike. This hole has a small rubber plug. Remove that plug.
- Install the kickstand into the slot on the bottom of the swingarm.
- Then insert the 8mm Allen bolt into the screw hole from top to bottom.
- Tighten the kickstand bolt using an 8mm allen wrench.
- Reinstall the rubber plugs in the kickstand bolt holes.
