Product Usage Instructions

  1. Fingerprint scanner connector: The connector is used to connect the fingerprint scanner with a cable.
  2. Power input + unlock signal connector: The connector is used to provide power to the controller and receive a 24 VDC signal on the OPEN pin for unlocking the door. This signal is usually provided by an intercom.
  3. Lock motor connector: The connector is used to provide power to the lock motor, send unlocking signals, toggle day/night mode for the lock, and receive feedback from the lock regarding door status.
  4. Power button: When pressed, the power to the controller is temporarily cut. This button can be used to reboot the controller if it is frozen or not functioning properly.
  5. Reset button: Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds until the fingerprint scanner starts blinking blue. If an administrator registers a fingerprint while the fingerprint scanner is blinking, the controller will be factory reset.

Manual Factory Reset Instructions:

  1. Press and hold the reset button.
  2. Immediately press the power button shortly.
  3. Release both buttons.
  4. Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.
  5. Release the button.

If the fingerprint scanner shines blue and the LED diode on the controller is red, the factory reset was successful.

  1. Fingerprint scanner connector
    The connector is used to connect fingerprint scanner with a cable.

  2. Power input + unlock signal connector
    The connector is used to provide power to the controller. It is also used to receive 3rd party 24 VDC signal on pin marked “OPEN” for unlocking the door. This signal is usually provided by intercom.

  3. Lock motor connector
    Connector is used to provide power to the lock motor, send unlocking signal, toggle day/night mode for the lock and to receive feedback from the lock whether the doors are closed or locked

  4. LED diode

  5. LED diode OFF – controller has no power

  6. LED diode RED – controller has power and no active Bluetooth connections

  7. LED diode BLUE – controller has power and is connected to a device via Bluetooth

  8. Power button

  9. When pressed, the power to the controller is temporarily cut. Used to reboot controller in case it is frozen or not functioning properly.

  10. Reset button

  11. Reset button must be pressed and held for 5 seconds, until the fingerprint scanner starts blinking blue. If administrator registers fingerprint while the fingerprint scanner is blinking, the controller is factory reset.
