SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION
This manual is an integral part of your product.
These instructions are provided for your safety. Read this manual carefully
before installing and keep itin a safe place for future reference.
Caution: Installation that does not comply with the instructions in this
manual or improper use of the product may cause injury to people and animals
or property damage.
Before installing the motorization, remove all unnecessary ropes and chains
and disable any equipment, such as the lock/lock, not required, for motorized
door operation. Before installing the motorization, check that the door is in
good mechanical condition, properly balanced and opens and closes properly.
For greater safety, we strongly recommend the installation of photocells.
While the powerplantincorporates an obstacle stop system, adding photocells
will improve the operational safety of your automated garage door.
Make sure the garage door is fully open and still before entering or exiting
the garage.
The drive shall be disconnected from its power source during cleaning,
maintenance and when replacing parts.
‘This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilties or lack of
experience and knowiedge if they have been given supenvision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Keep fixed
control devices and remote controls out of the reach of children. Watch the
door in motion and keep everyone away untilthe door is fully open or closed.
Be careful when using manual unlocking, as an open door can fall quickly due
to weak or broken springs or imbalance.
In case of doubt, never operate the installation at the risk of damaging it.
Each month check that the drive reverses or the object can be freed when the
door contacts a 50 mm high object placed on the floor. Adjust if necessary and
recheck since an incorrect adjustment may present a hazard. The drive is
intended to be installed at least 2,5m above the floor or other access level.

B3- Description of the automation
CarOne 600 garage door opener is applied for residential automation of up and
over doors and sectional doors. It operates on mains. The trolley can be
released by pulling the cord to move the door manually.

WIRING / INSTALLING
C1- Rack assembly (steel rack guide)

Cut the plastic cable clamp on the threaded rod 1 on the motor side rack.

Slide the end (B) of the motor side rack into the 1st sleeve, do the same with the second rack side (B).

Slide a sleeve at the end (A) of the second rack then slide the end (A) of the third rack.

Slide a sleeve at the end (B) of the third rack then slide the end (B) of the door side rack.
-
Insert the end of rack suppon 1 at the end (A) of the door side rack.
Pull the screw rod 2 along with inner chain to the end of top rack. -
Insert the spring and screw the nut.

Tight the nut 2 to the right position, cut the plastic cable tie on sprocket.
Rack assembly is complete. -
Check the chain tension, which should not be too tight nor too loose.
C2- Attach the rack to the motor
- The motor ouput should be placed in the pin hole dedicated.
- Fix the rack to the motor with U bracket and axis pin.
C3- Fixing the rack to the header wall and ceiling

Position (I) header bracket on the header wall.
It’s recommended to be positionned at the center of the garage door.
The installation height of the header bracket varies from 8-40 cm from the top garage door. -
Install the header bracket with screws.

Fix the front rack to header bracket with bolts.

Fix the (A) ceiling bracket on the crossbeam of ceiling with crews.
Fix the rack to the rack holder (D) and assemble with the ceiling holder.
C4- Release rope installation
Fix the rope OR to the release trolley 0.
WARNING
- NEVER use emergency release handle unless garage doorway is clear of persons and obstructions
- Install the actuating member for the manual release at a height less than 1,8m. If removable, the actuating member should be stored in direct vi of the door
C5- Release
The opener is equipped with a manual release rope to move the door while
holding the handle down. Pull the handle to disengage the trolley. To re-
engage the door, reposition the trolley in front of the chain hook and lower
the latch.

Before making the connections, you must switch off the electricity.
A. Connect the wires of each accessories on the terminal. (If necessary)

Photocells (optional accessory AAM0036)
The photocells are safety devices for control automatic gates. Consist of one transmitter and one receiver based in waterproof covers; itis triggered while breaking the path of the beams.
Photocells are active during the closing phase only.
If the displays shows «E» then «4», the short-circuit between GND & DOOR is not correctly intalled. -
Key selector, push button and opening control from a door phone.

D3- Door place for learning phase
If all the installation steps have been followed, the door of your garage will
be positioned at half its stroke when it is re-engaged.
Connect the 230-volt plug in your powerplant to a nearby plug.
Your electrical installation must meet the NF C 15-100 standard.
D4- System settings

Open and closed positions settingsPress and hold ‘SET” button until the LED displays figure 1’, then adjust the up limit by pressing ‘up’ button. Fine-tuning ‘up’ or ‘down’ button to determine the final up limit position then press ‘set’ button the display turn into ‘2 automatically. Adjust the down limit by pressing ‘down’ button. Fine-tuning ‘up’ or ‘down’ button to determine the final down limit position then press ‘set’ button. The opener will operate a cycle automatically to remember the limit positions and the opening & closing force.

Matching the receiver and transmitter Press and hold ‘CODE’ button until the LED dot s on. (Fig. A) Then press any button on the transmitter once, the dot will be off; press the button again (the dot will fast flash). The screen displays «ii» (Fig. B). After that the transmitter will be registered.
Press ‘CODE’ button more than 8 seconds until the LED displays ‘C’, all the stored codes will be deleted. -
Force adjusment (depending on weight and right of the door)
Press and hold ‘SET’ button until the LED displays ‘3″. Press “UP’ button to increase the force and ‘DOWN’ button to decrease the force. The maximum force is 9 and the minimum is 1. Press “SET’ button to confirm.
- Auto-close settings Press and hold the “UP” button until a number between 0 and 9 appears on the screen. “0” disables auto-close. “1” sets an automatic close 1 minute after full opening. Same for other numbers. «9» is the maximum value (9 minutes). Adjust the value with the «UP» and «<DOWN» buttons and validate by pressing the «SET» button.
- Photocells
Press and hold the “DOWN” button until the LED displays “11″. Press once the “UP” button the display indicates”H”, the photocell function is active. Press once the “DOWN” button the LED displays“11”, the photocell function is inactive. Press “SET” to confirm the selection.
Do not forget to disconnect the function “photocell” if not used.

MAINTENANCE
Conductthe following operations atleast every 6 months. If in high intensity
of use, shorten the period in between.
Disconnect the power supply:
- Clean and lubricate the screws, the pins, and the hinge with grease.
- Check the fastening points are properly tightened
- Check the wires connections.
Connect the power supply:
- Check the power adjustments.
- Check the function of the manual release.
- Check the function of photocells or other safety devise.
- battery must be inserted with the correct polarity
- the supply terminals must not be short-circuited
- non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged

H1- Troubleshooting

hall| The count of the sub hall is faster than the count of the main hall.
Please learn the open/close limit again.
E4| Pass door is open| Check whether the pass door is properly closed, if it
has been closed, then check if its connecting wire and its terminals are loose
E5| Unknown type motor is used/
Motor damage| Please chaeck the motor model for any errors. Change to a new
motor.
E6| Door blocked during closing| Please check wheter there is any object under
the door. If there is no object, you can reset open/close limit.

WARRANTY
SCS Sentinel grants to this product a warranty period, beyond the legal time,
as a sign of quality and reliabilty.
‘The invoice will be required as proof of purchase date. Please keep it during
the warranty period.
Carefully keep the barcode and the proof of purchase, that will be necessary
to claim warranty.
Are never covered by our warranty:
- Damage resulting from the consequences of a bad installation (bad wiring, reverse polarity …).
- Damage resulting from improper use of the device (use in contradiction with the manual) or its modification.
- Damage resulting from the consequences of the use of components not from SCS SENTINEL.
- Damage due to lack of maintenance, physical shock.
- Damage due to weather: hail, lightning, strong wind etc.
- Returns made without a copy of the invoice or receipt.

Don’t throw batteries or out of order products with the household waste
(garbage). The dangerous substances hat they are likely to include may harm

or use the selective collect of garbage proposed by your city.
