Removal
-
Remove passenger seat and rider seat.

Remove the four bolts securing passenger seat support plate and remove.

Removing the left and right rear side cover and undertail may ease removal of the stock fender and installation of the Yoshimura fender eliminator kit. Follow steps in Factory Service / Owners Manual for disassembly.

Locate and disconnect white square 4-pin fender sub-harness connector. While securely supporting the fender assembly, remove the three Torx bolts securing fender to subframeand carefully remove the fender assembly.
Note: Two of the fender bolts are secured using lock nuts. Using a 10mm wrench, hold nut in place from above when removing the bolts. -
The stock fender spacers protruding from the undertail will not be used with the Yoshimura fender eliminator kit. Gently pull down on undertail and remove the fender spacers from above as shown.

Disassemble the stock fender assembly and remove the left and right turn signals.

Cut the stock license plate light connector from the stock fender assembly. Cut wires 2-3” from the stock license plate light bulb.
Installation

Re-connect white square 4-pin fender subharness connector to main harness.

Install 19300-FEBKT, fender eliminator bracket to undertail using 6mm bolts and stock fender lock nuts.
Note: Make sure the two fender spacers are removed from the undertail to ensure proper fitment of the fender eliminator bracket.

Install 070BG-LH-K1, Yoshimura license plate light onto 070BG-UNV-FEBKT, license plate bracket using M4X6BHS, 4mm button head screws provided in the kit.

Connect the Yoshimura license plate light wires to the stock license plate light wires as follows:
Red -to- Yellow Black -to- Black
a) Strip the stock fender light wire ends 1/4” – 1/2” and insert into BN- SSS-22-18, solder shrink connectors provided in the kit.
b) Center the spliced wire ends in the middle and using a heatgun or lighter, apply heat evenly on the outer edges of the solder shrink connector to shrink and hold wires in place.
c) Making sure that the stripped ends are centered, heat the center of the solder shrink connector evenly until the solder begins to liquify.
d) Allow to cool completely and tug both ends of the wires to verify that connection is secured.

Install 070BG-UNV-FEBKT, license plate bracket to 19300-FEBKT, fender eliminator bracket using M6X10BHS, 6mm screws.

Install left and right turn signals onto 19300-TSB-L/R, turn signal brackets.

Assemble and install 070BG-LPF, license plate frame and 19300-TSB-L/R, left and right turn signal brackets to 070BG-UNV-FEBKT, license plate bracket using M6X16BHS & M6X14BHS, 6mm button head screws, 6MMWASHER, 6mm washers and 6MMLN, 6mm nylon lock nuts as shown.

Route license plate light and turn signal wires through hole in fender bracket and through undertail and re-connect.

If removed, re-install left and right rear side covers using reverse steps of removal.

Re-install passenger seat support plate using reverse steps of removal.

Re-install passenger seat and rider seat.
-
Check for proper function of license plate light, turn signals, brake light, and that all brackets and components are secure prior to riding.
