QUICK START GUIDE

WARNING
Read the ENTIRE operator’s manual to become familiar with the featur of this
product before operation. This Quick Start Guide IS NOT a substitute for the
Operator’s Manual.
Failure to operate the product correctly could result in damage to the
product, personal property or cause serious injury or death.
Set Up
Add oil. Assembly > Add Engine Oil.
Recommended: 5W-30, up to 20.3 fl. oz. (600 ml) DO NOT overfill.
Move the generator outdoors.
Move generator to an open, outdoor area.
Point exhaust away from people and buildings.
Never run generator inside a home or garage.
Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from generator. Heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.
Add fuel – Gasoline or Propane (LPG) Assembly > Add Fuel
FOR GASOLINE OPERATION: DO NOT USE E15 OR E85
Connect the battery. Assembly > Connect the Battery.
Attach the red battery lead to the positive red terminal on the battery.
Repeat for the black negative battery lead.
Fuel Selection. Operation > Fuel Selector Switch.
Gasoline: “Horizontal” position.
Propane: “Vertical” position.
Start Up
DO NOT plug in any electrical devices.
NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED
ON!
Pull the choke knob out to the “CHOKE” position.
Starting the Engine: Gasoline
Electric Start
- Push the battery switch to the “ON” position.
- Press and hold the ignition switch to the “START” position.
- Pull the choke knob out of the “RUN” position.
Manual Start
- Push the battery switch to the “ON” position.
- Push the ignition switch to the “ON” position.
- Pull the starter cord.
- Pull the choke knob out of the “RUN” position.
Starting the Engine: Propane (LPG)
Electric Start
- Open the propane tank valve.
- Push the battery switch to the “ON” position.
- Press and hold the ignition switch to the “START” position.
- Pull the choke knob out of the “RUN” position.
Manual Start
- Open the propane tank valve.
- Push the battery switch to the “ON” position.
- Push the ignition switch to the “ON” position
- Pull the recoil 1-2 times to prime the engine.
- Push the chob knob in to the “RUN” position.
- Pull the recoil to start the engine.
Plug in. Operation > Connecting Electrical Loads.
