Product Information
The product is a residential intercom system designed forvillas, residential
complexes, condominiums, and luxury residences. It features intuitive
controls, even for inexperienced users,making it easy to accept calls, open
doors, display missed calls, and switch to silent mode. The interface consists
of large, color backlit buttons for easy operation. The device has a designer
surface made of tempered glass and can be configured via a web interface.
It offers various features and benefits, including:

Product Usage Instructions
To use the product, follow these instructions:
- Connect the power supply to the device using a 12VDC adapter or PoE 802.3af.
- Ensure the power supply has reverse polarity protection.
- Use the 7 capacitive buttons with RGB LED backlighting to operate the device. Press and hold the RESET button to restore factory settings.
- To activate the parental lock, press and hold the buttons.
- To switch off the ringtone, activate the “Do not disturb” mode. You can do this instantly or set pre-set time intervals.
- The device supports various audio codecs, including G.711, G.729, G.722, and L16/16kHz. It has an integrated microphone and speaker for audio communication.
- The video display is a 4.3″ screen with a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. It supports video codecs such as H.264, H.263, and MJPEG.
- For LAN connectivity, use a 10/100BaseT interface with RJ-45 Cat5e or higher cabling.
- The device has a doorbell input that supports switching contact (button/relay) with normally open (NO) parameters up to 50V/5mA, DC.
- Ensure the device is placed within the recommended operating temperature range of 10 to 90% (non-condensing) relative humidity.
- The recommended altitude for usage is 0 to 2000 meters.

Intuitive controls, even for inexperienced users
Accepting calls, opening doors, displaying missed calls or switching to silent mode has never been easier. Large, colour backlit buttons make the interface intuitive and easy to operate.
Designer surface made of tempered glass
The upper 3mm glass is chemically strengthened at 420°C in a salt bath,
providing maximum durability and protecting it from scratches and impacts
during everyday household use.
Configuration via a web interface
Creating a device directory or upgrading firmware in all installed 2N® Indoor
Compact units can be done either locally or remotely via the unit’s web
interface.

Connection of the unit in a matter of seconds
The structured cabling typical in houses today makes it possible to simply plug the 2N® Indoor Compact straight into the system. Powering the device via PoE and communication are ensured immediately. -
HD quality sound with noise suppression
The 2N® Indoor Compact offers the perfect experience when communicating with visitors. It uses a G.722 HD audio codec and unique speaker output and system to suppress ambient noise. -
Switching video between internal and external cameras
When accepting a call on the 2N® Indoor Compact, it is possible to switch from the intercom’s camera to video from an external IP camera by the entrance. Make sure that only the person you want to let in enters the building. -
Backup of answering unit settings
After successfully setting up the 2N® Indoor Compact, back up the complete configuration in case the settings need to be restored or duplicated for a new answering unit. -
Display of date and time in idle mode
It’s easy to prevent your children from accidentally letting strangers into your home when playing. Simply press and hold the buttons to activate a parental lock. -
“Do not disturb” mode
Activate the “Do not disturb” mode to switch off the ringtone at once or at pre-set time intervals. Use this option when you need absolute peace and quiet.
