Alde Compact 3030 Boilers Raise The Bar

Product Information
The Alde Compact 3030 is a control panel for managing the temperature and energy settings of a heating system. It features a status screen that displays various information and menus for easy navigation.

Main Features

  • Status screen with the main menu for one or two temperature zones
  • On-/Off-button: Controls the boiler power. Green LED indicates the panel/boiler is on, while red indicates an error message

Product Usage Instructions
To use the Alde Compact 3030 control panel, follow these steps:

Power On/Off

  • Press the On-/Off button to turn on the panel/boiler. The green LED indicates that it is on.
  • If the LED changes to red, there is an error message. Refer to the manual for troubleshooting steps.

Accessing Menus

  • Tap the MENU button to activate the settings menu or return to the status screen.
  • On the status screen, tap the respective symbol to reach its submenu.
  • Alternatively, you can access menus via the menu button located at the bottom right of the screen.

Temperature Control

  • Indoor Temperature: The current temperature and circulation pump status are displayed. Tap the icon to change the desired temperature.
  • Outdoor Temperature (if applicable): If an outdoor sensor is installed, the current outdoor temperature is displayed.

Energy Source Selection

  • Energy: The energy source used (gas or 230 V) is indicated. Tap the icon to select and prioritize the energy source.
  • Load Monitor and High Altitude Mode: Set load monitor and high altitude mode preferences using the energy source menu.

Hot Water Production

  • Hot water status is indicated. Press the respective controls to start, switch off, or increase hot water production.
  • The thermometer icon fills up entirely when hot water reaches boost temperature.
  • Hot water can be in normal operation, boost mode (prioritized production for 30 minutes), or ignored (produced as a by-product of central heating).

Accessing Symbol Menu

  • Tap the respective symbol on the status screen to go directly to its menu.
  • Symbol menus can also be accessed via the menu button at the bottom right of the screen.

Additional Menus

  • Operating Messages: Displays temporary service interruptions.
  • Information: Flashes when there is an information message, such as a reminder to renew the air cushion in the boiler.
  • 230 V: Indicates when 230 V power is connected to the boiler.
  • Day Mode: Appears and turns green when active within the set time interval.
  • Night Mode: Appears and turns green when active within the set time interval.
  • LPG Bottle Available/Empty*: Indicates gas availability or depletion when using a Truma DuoControl.
  • Defroster EisEx*: Appears and turns green when active for defrosting.
  • Engine Pre-heat*: Shown if the engine heater is installed and turned on, and turns green when active.

  • Alde AquaClear UV-C*: Appears when the freshwater pump is running and the water filter works.

Settings Menu

  • Press the MENU button to access the settings menu.
  • Use the menu navigation to change settings and preferences according to your needs.

Night Mode: An intelligent function for optimal comfort during the night. Select desired night temperature and other functions.

On-/Off-button
Main switch for boiler. Green LED indicates that the panel/boiler is on. If it changes to red it indicates that there is an error message.

MENU-button
Button to activate the settings menu, or return to the status screen.

Indoor temperature
Indoor temperature shows the current temperature and whether the circulation pump is active. Tap the icon to change the desired temperature.

Outdoor temperature
If an outdoor sensor is installed, the current outdoor temperature is displayed.

Energy
Shows the energy source used (gas or 230 V). The flame turns red when gas is in use, and the flash turns yellow when electricity is in use. Tap the icon to select and prioritize energy sources, and to set the load monitor* and high altitude mode.

Hot water
Indicates whether hot water production is on, “boost” or turned off. Press the respective controls to start/ switch off or increase hot water production. The thermometer fills up entirely when the hot water reaches boost temperature.

Hot water on (normal operation)
Hot water boost (prioritized hot water production for 30 minutes). Hot water ignores (hot water will only be produced as a by-product of central heating). Status screen, symbol menu  Tap the respective symbol on the status screen to go directly to its menu. These can also be reached via the menu button at the bottom right. Operating messages

Displayed if temporary service interruption occurs.

Information
Flashes when there is an information message. Can e.g. be that it is time to renew the air cushion in the boiler or that the boiler makes a new start attempt. 230 V Shows when 230 V is connected to the boiler.

Day Mode
Appears when the feature is on and turns green when it is active, ie within the set time interval.

Night Mode
Appears when the feature is on and turns green when it is active, ie within the set time interval.

LPG bottle available/empty
Appears if a Truma DuoControl is connected to your

Alde Heating System
Black bottle= Gas available in the first bottle.
Red bottle= First bottle empty. The DuoControl has switched to the second bottle.

Defroster EisEx
Appears if EisEx is turned on and turns green when active.

Engine pre-heat
Shown if the engine heater is installed and turned on, and turns green when active.

Anti-bacteria
The boiler’s automatic bacterial elimination setting is running.

High altitude mode
Flashes if the high altitude mode is active. Used in heat production with LPG at altitudes above 1000 m. Switch off the function when the vehicle is back below 1000 m.

Alde AquaClear UV-C
Appears when the freshwater pump is running and the water filter works.

The Settings menu

Night Mode
An intelligent function for optimal comfort around the clock, all year round that automatically changes selected functions during the night. Choose which days and between which times Night Mode should be activated. You can choose to activate these functions: Desired night temperature.

  • 1-zone: Change temp sensor to bed during the night*.
  • 2-zone: Change the temp sensor for AC to bed during the night*.
  • Underfloor heating* on or off.
  • Hot water demand on or off.
  • AC* should run extra quietly.
  • The control panel switches to a dark screen to avoid it ”lighting up” your vehicle during the night.

Day Mode
Automatically changes selected functions during the day. Choose which days and between which times Day The mode should be activated.

  • You can choose to activate these functions:
  • Desired day temperature.
  • Underfloor heating* on or off.
  • Hot water demand on or off.

If you have a Truma AC that is connected to the heating system, it is possible to control the AC from the control panel. This function makes it possible to have a fully automatic climate control where the heating syste and the AC work together. With an outdoor sensor fitted, comfort is even higher and provides a smoother transition between heating and cooling.

Underfloor heating
Turn the underfloor heating on or off. Select continuous operation of the underfloor heating by activating “Continuous”.

Engine pre-heat
Heat the engine in the motorhome using the Alde heating system via a heat exchanger and circulation pump. Start or turn off the function, and select the start time and the engine heating duration.

Pump
Choose whether the circulation pump on the boiler should run automatically or continuously. If a circulation pump with PWM control is mounted, the speed of the pump can be controlled in five steps.

*EisEx, a defroster for gas regulator**
Prevents ice formation in the regulator during winter. Select on or off, and select whether EisEx should automatically turn on when it is cold. An automatic switch-on requires an outdoor sensor to be installed.

Delayed start, automatic boiler start
Start or turn off the feature, and select start and end time. Set Delayed start and turn off the boiler on the On /Off button. The boiler then starts according to set times.

Sensor calibration
If the temperature that is displayed in the panel does not correspond to the actual temperature, it can be adjusted by ±5 °C in the panel. This also applies to outdoor temperature sensors.

Display
Select panel brightness: Low, Medium, or High. You can also choose whether the status screen should be Normal, Inverted, or Dark. If Dark is selected, the panel will go dark after 30 seconds and will light up again if touched.

Sound
Start or turn off the button and warning/notification sounds.

Language
Change the language in the Control Panel menus; available languages are English, German, and French.

Service
Displays values from the heating system; these are updated continuously and describe the current status of the boiler.

System configuration
Here, you will find all accessories or functions that can be connected to the Alde Heating System; tick the features that are installed in the heating system so they can be controlled from the control panel.

Reset
Resets the panel to factory setting. The accessories/ features selected under System Configuration are not affected.
