How to Wear?

A proper fit on your l1ead is important for both comfort and optimal sound quality. Here are some guid<‘lines·

  1. Reversible wearing style: The M99·A can be worn on the left or right by tlipping the microphone to the other side (300′ limit}

NOTE:

  1. Power On Automatically
    Pick up the headset from the charging base, the headset will automatically power on.

  2. Power On Automatically
    Unplug the charging cable of the headset when churging, the headset will automatically power on

How to Pair with A Computer?

  • B·l. How to Pair?
    The headset can pair with the computer without using the dongle (not included in the package)
1. If your computer doesn’t have Bluetooth, first download a universal driver software according to the model of your computer on the browser or cont.ict your computer manufacturer. When Bluetooth is installed successfully, you will have a little gray Bluetooth icon in the bottom right corner of your computer.
2. Turn on your computer”s Bluetooth.
3. Start with tile headset off. Press and l1old the MFB button of M99·A for 1 second, it will turn on and enter pairing mode automatically with red and blue lights flash alternat<‘ly. K<‘ep the M99·A close to the computer so it will be discovered by the computer You will hear the voice guidance say “Pairing”
4. On your PC, select Start ‘>Settings’> Bluetooth & other devices ‘> Add Bluetooth or another device’> Bluetooth ‘> Click on the model number [M99·Al of your device. A window will pop up indicating the Bluetooth connection is complete. You will help”connected”at the same time
5. Right·dick the Speakers icon at the bottom right then click Open Sound settings Select [M99·Al as your default output devic<‘ (Speaker). Select [M99·Al as your default input device (Microphone). Make sure that M99•A has been selected as both default output and default input device.   • B·2. Precautions when Connecting to A Computer
    The microphone and the speaker of the headset may be disabled or not set as the default device on your computer.
    To avoid the problem of having no sound when pairing the headset with your computer:
1. Make sure the headset is paired with the computer successfully.
2. Please check the sound settings of your PC to make sure sound is played via the correct output and input after the headset is connected with your computer.  

Please follow the steps below to set

  1. Right-click the Speakers icon at the bottom right, then click Open Sound settings
  2. 2\. Select [ M99·A] as your default output device (Speaker).  

3. Select [ M99·A] as your default input device (Microphon<‘).
4. Make sure that M99·A has been selected as both default output and default input device. Then clos<‘ Settings.

  • B·3. Zoom & Other Meeting Apps Setting
    To avoid the problem that one side can not hear the voice from the other side when having calls over Zoom.
    Teams or other conferencing platforms when using the headset with a computer:
1. Make sure the headset is paired with the computer successfully.
2. Make sure that [M99·A] has been selected as both default output and default input device on the sound settings of your PC.
3. Please check the sound settings of the platforms you are using, make sure the mic and the speaker are both set to M99·A & the microphone of these conferencing platforms is not muted.

C. Reconnect
The headset has matching records. Hold the MB button of the M99-A for 1 second to power on. M99-A will automatically enter pairing mode with the red and blue lights flashing alternately. It will search for and reconnect to the last paired device automatically. Other devices need to be connected manually.

Pairing with 2 Devices Simultaneously

Multipoint technology lets you pair a second phone and answer calls or listen to music from either phone.GIXXTED-M99-A Wireless-Headset-with-Charging-

  1. follow the pairing procedure as instructed in part “Getting Paired” to pair the headset with tl1e 1st Bluetooth device.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth of your 1st device. The he,1dset will enter pairing mode
  3. Repeat the pairing procedure to pair the 2nd Bluetooth device.
  4. Turn on Bluetooth of your 1st device, click to reconnect to “M99·A • on the Bluetooth list
  5. Turn the headset off and then on to reset. Th<‘ heads<‘t will automatically connect to the 2 devices at the same time.
  6. Now you can operate two devices through one headset.

Note:
The headset can be paired with multiple devices, but can only play music from one paired device at a time. If you want to play music from the second phone, you need to pause or turn off the music from the first phor1e. The same applies to taking calls.

Charging the Device

The headset contains a lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Charge the headset using the supplied TYPE·C USB cable Please charge the M99-A at once when the red LED flashes quickly and the headset reminds you with “battery low”. It takes 2·3 hours to fully charge your headset. The LED flashes blue for 5 seconds then turns off once charging is complete

Two was to Charge the Headset:

  • A. Charge the Headset DirectlyGIXXTED-M99-A Wireless-Headset-with-Charging-Base-fig- \(29\) Connect the included TYPE·C USB cable to the handset, and then connect the other end to a booted computer, or use any USB charger supplied with your mobile device.
    • Make sure that the red indicator lights up.
    • Charging is completed in 2 to 3 hours when the LED flashes blue for 5 seconds then turns off.
  • B. Char e the Headset via the Char in Base
    Place the M99·A 011 tl1e base. The tl1e battery icon will be lit when connected properly. You can connect the base to a PC or USB charger using the USB connection if the internal bus battery needs charging.GIXXTED-M99-A

Notes!

  • Make sure the charger and cable are fully dry before charging
  • Warning! The charging voltage is 4.2-5V. No more than 5V! Voltage over 5V will damage the battery.
  • Charging input: 5V DC/above 500mA
  • Use a certified TYPE-C charging cable and charger to prevent any damage. To care for the headset better, we do not recommend you charge it via car charger or power bank.
  • The headset can be used when charging but we don’t recommend using it when charging for below reasons: 1.For your safety; 2. For sound quality – When charging, fluctuations in voltage and current can result in poor sound quality.
  • Please turn off the headset when you are not using it to care for the headset better.
  • Please charge the M99-A at least once every 2 months when not in use.
  • There is a built-in battery in the charging base.
  • You can do this, but to care for your headset better and use it longer, it’s best not to put your/any Bluetooth headset in the car (or you can store it in a cool place and avoid overexposure in harsh sunlight) if the weather is too hot because the temperature inside the car is very high, which might affect the service life of the headset battery due to high temperature.

  • Q: How do I contact you if I have any problems wih the headset or need any hep?

    • A: Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns. Simply email us via support.us@gixxted.com, and we’re always here to help you.
  • Q: How do I reconnect? What do I do if it fails to reconnect?

    • A: The device will contain a pairing record from any previous successful connection: Turn on the headset, the M99-A will automatically enter pairing mode and reconnect. If this fails, please pair and connect again. The headset can be reconnected in 5 minutes. It will power off automatically if It will power off automatically if disconnected for over 5 minutes. If it is disconnected outside the operatinal range, you will hear a voice prompt say “Long Range”, then “Disconnected”.
  • Q: What do I do if the headset is unable to pair? What do I do if the headset can not be recognized by the device?

    • A: Please clear all data on the Bluetooth list of your device. Then, reset the headset (In charging mode, press and hold the “MB” for 3 seconds to clear the pairing records), and test again. If you still have problems that include not being able to pair with your computer, please try to update the Bluet oth driver of your computer. If you still cannot solve the problem, please don’t hesitate to email us via support.us@gixxted.com and we will assist you further.
  • Q: Why there is no sound when pairing the headset with a computer?

    • A:
    1. Please make sure the headset is connected with the computer successfully.
    2. Please check the sound settings of your PC to make sure sound is played via the correct output and input after the headset is connected with your computer. The microphone and the speaker of the headset may be disabled or not set as the default device on your computer.
      Please follow the steps below to set:
    • Right-click the Speaker icon at the bottom right of your desktop, then click “Open Sound Settings’
    • Select [M99-A] as your output device (Speaker).
    • Select [M99-A] as your input device (Microphone).
    • Make sure that [M99-A] has been selected as both the output and input device, then close Settings.
  • Q: Why can’t one participant not hear the voice of the other when using a conferencing app such as Zoom or Teams with the headset?

1. Please make sure the headset has connected with the computer successtully.
2. Make sure M99-A is set as the input and output device and one of your default audio devices of your computer.
3. Please check the sound settings of the platform you are using. Make sure the mic and speaker are both set to M99-A & the microphone of these conferencing platforms is not muted.
  • Q: Why can’t I mute?
    • A: The headset can only mute phones calls, not calls from apps or websites on your phone or computer. If you are pairing the headset to a PC using a USB dongle (not included in the package), you can mute calls from some conferencing platforms as well.
  • Q: Why can’t I answer or hang up a call when single clicking the MFB?
    • A. The headset can only operate phone calls, not calls made through apps or programs on your computer.
  • Q: How do I delete/reset pairing records?
    • A: In charging mode, press and hold the “MB” for 3 seconds to clear the pairing records. The LED will flash blue 3 times, which indicates the pairing record has been cleared, and the M99-A will no longer connect automatically to the previously connected device. When various connection exceptions occur, you can try to clear the pairing records.
  • Q: What’s the password for pairing?
    • A: If the device prompts you for a password/PIN, try each of the following: 0000, 8888, 1111, or 1234. Note, most phones do not prompt you for a passkey.
  • Q: Why does the headset power off automatically?
    • A. It will power off if it does not connect to any devices for over 5 minutes, or if the battery voltage is lower than 3.1 volts.
  • Q: How do I make a three-party call?
    • A: When there is a new incoming call during a call you have already answered:
    • Single press the MB to answer the new call and hang up the current call.
    • Double press the MB to keep the current call and reject the new call.
    • Press and hold the MB for 1 second to answer the new call and hold the current call.
    • During a three-party call, press and hold the MB for 1 second to switch audio between the current call and the held call.
