Cautions and Warnings
To prevent injury and damage to your scale, please follow these instructions very carefully.
- Do not transport the scale with anything on the platform.
- For accurate weighing, the scale must be placed on a flat, stable surface.
- The scale contains sensitive electronic parts. Avoid rough treatment. Do not drop, kick, or jump on it. Treat it with care to ensure the best performance.
- Do not store scale where you store cleaning chemicals. The vapors from some household products may affect the electronic components of your scale. Do not store scale on its side.
- This scale is an extremely sensitive weighing device. In order to prevent run down of the battery, do not store anything on the scale.
In no event whatsoever shall Pelstar® , LLC be liable for damages or injuries arising from or connected with the assembly, use, or misuse of its products.

Before First Use
- The scale is shipped with the batteries installed. Pull and remove the battery insulator tab from within the battery compartment before first use.
- Place scale on flat, stable surface.
- To turn on the scale, tap firmly with your foot on the center of the platform. Wait for 0.0 to appear, then step onto the scale (disregarding the reading) and step off. This process insures the scale is set and is now ready for use. Do this whenever the scale is moved.
To Set Weight Mode (KG, LB, or ST)
Slide the switch to thedesired weight mode.
To Weigh
To turn on the scale, tap firmly with your foot on the center of the platform.
Wait for 0.0 to appear, then step onto the scale.The measurement will flash on the display twice then lock onto the
weight. If you continue to stand on the scale, your weight will be displayed
for 10 seconds and then the scale will turn off automatically. Weight will
remain displayed for 10 seconds after stepping off the scale.
Troubleshooting
If the display shows “Lo” message, replace batteries per the included instructions. If the display shows “Err E” the load on the scale exceeds the capacity (400 lb / 180 kg /28 st 8 lb).
Battery Instructions
The scale is shipped with batteries already installed. Before first use, you must remove the pull tab located within the battery compartment tab. The battery compartment is located on the underside of the scale. To replace the batteries, follow these steps.

To open the battery cover, push the battery compartment tab to the right and lift upwards. Note: You do NOT need to remove any screws to open the battery compartment.

To remove the batteries, press upward on the white tab that is holding the battery. Moving the tab will loosen the battery so it can be removed.
Remove both batteries and replace with two new 3V Lithium (CR2032) batteries. Follow the battery illustration to ensure the batteries are inserted with the

side facing up.
- Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding the end of the cover into the battery compartment. Then push down on the tab and compartment to ensure the battery cover is firmly attached.
Cleaning and Disinfecting
Proper care and cleaning is essential to ensure a long life of accurate and effective weighing.

Health o meter® Professional recommends using one of the following solutions on a soft cloth or disposable wipe:
● mild soap and water solution ● 70% isopropyl alcohol ● solution with 1-5% hydrogen peroxide concentration -
After cleaning/disinfecting, wipe with a cloth dampened with water and then with a clean dry cloth. To avoid residue build-up or damp surfaces, ensure the screen and scale parts are completely dry after cleaning.

Never use rough or abrasive materials to clean the scale, as these will damage the scale’s finish.

Do not submerge the scale in water or any other liquid.

Do not pour or spray fluids directly on the scale.
1-Year Limited Warranty
This Health o meter® Professional product is warranted from date of purchase
against defects of materials or in workmanship for a period of one (1) year.
If product fails to function properly, return the product, freight prepaid and
properly packed to Pelstar, LLC). If the manufacturer determines that a
defect of material or in workmanship exists, the customer’s sole remedy will
be replacement of the scale at no charge. Replacement will be made with a new
or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer
available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater
value. All replaced parts are covered only for the original warranty period.
