ELECTRO TERMINAL SLK 8-5 Luminaire Connection
Product Information
The SLK 8 is a connector with a radio module designed for the wiring of luminaires. It allows for easy installation and connection of lights. Please note that the installation of this product should only be done by qualified personnel.
Product Usage Instructions
Before starting any work on the device, ensure that the power supply is switched off. Follow the steps below to properly use the SLK 8:
- Drehen und ziehen (Twist and pull): Twist and pull the connector to open it.
- Leiter herausziehen (Pull out the wire): Pull out the wire from the connector.
- Push button: Press the button on the connector to prepare for wire insertion.
- Insert wire: Insert the wire into the connector.
- Release button: Release the button to secure the wire in place.
- Lochbild OF – Befestigungslasche (Cutout OF – Fixing tag): Use a torque wrench (max. 0.8 Nm) to secure the fixing tag with an M4 screw.
- ALP (Aluminiumprofil) Befestigung (ALP – Aluminium profile fixation): Use an M4 screw to attach the aluminum profile with a threaded channel of at least 0.5mm thickness.
- Antennenposition (Antenna position): Position the antenna according to your requirements.
- Anschlussdiagramm (Wiring diagram): Refer to the provided wiring diagram for proper connection, ensuring that protective earth-wiring is done according to the luminaire protection type.
