Product Usage Instructions

Before using the product, read the entire Important Safety Information section at the beginning of the user manual, including all text under subheadings.
Two people are required to safely handle and remove an old windshield using this product.

Follow these steps:

  1. Park the vehicle in a well-lit area. Set the emergency brake and turn off the engine.
  2. Use a knife to remove the seal strip and separate the rubber edge.
  3. Place the wire into the groove of the Hook Tool (3) near the end of the wire.
  4. Bend the wire over the end of the Hook Tool.
  5. From outside the vehicle, force the wire between the windshield and the frame it is glued to.
  6. Pull the Hook Tool out, leaving the wire behind.
  7. From inside the vehicle, pull the wire through to half its length.
  8. Attach the T-Handle Grips to each end of the wire:
  9. Push the T-Handle Grip Attachment Post to the opposite end of the T-Handle to open it.
  10. Push the end of the wire into the Attachment Post and feed it into the Grip Hole.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Operating Instructions

Two people are needed to use this product and to safely handle and remove old windshield.

  1. Park the vehicle in a location with plenty of light, set the emergency brake and turn off the engine.

  2. Remove the seal strip first and separate the rubber edge with a knife.

  3. Cut approximately two to three feet of Braided Wire (1).

  4. Run the wire rope through the edge of the windshield with a T-Handle Grip (2).

  5. Place the wire into the groove of the Hook Tool (3) near the end of the wire.

  6. Bend the wire over the end of the Hook Tool.

  7. Working from the outside of the vehicle, force the wire between the windshield and the frame it is glued to.

  8. Pull the Hook Tool out leaving the wire behind.

  9. From the inside of the vehicle, pull the wire through to 1/2 its length.

  10. Attach the T-Handle Grips to each end of the wire”

  11. Push the T-Handle Grip Attachment Post to the opposite end of the T-Handle to open it.

  12. Push the end of the Wire into the Attachment Post and feed it into the Grip Hole.

  13. Push the Attachment Post back into the T-Handle so the Wire cannot be pulled out.
    Note : Make sure the wire rope is connected to the handle

  14. With the help of another person, (one person is in the car while the other person is outside the car), pull the wire along the perimeter of the windshield, separating it from the vehicle frame and glue

  15. When the old windshield is separated, carefully lift the windshield off the vehicle and set it in a safe location.

  16. Scrape off all old glue from the vehicle windshield frame and prepare for the installation of the new windshield
