Product Information
The Low Profile Digital Scale (Model: SCDG13LP) is a versatile and accurate weighing device designed for various applications. With a maximum capacity of 13 pounds (6 kg), it provides precise weight measurements in ounces, grams, pounds, and pounds + ounces. The scale features a stainless steel plate and a low-profile design for easy placement and stability. It is NSF Certified, ensuring durability and hygiene standards.
Using Instruction
INITIAL SETUP
- Insert batteries into the battery compartment located beneath the scale.
- Place the stainless steel plate on the scale.
WEIGHT MEASUREMENTS
- Press the On/Tare/Off button to turn on the scale.
- Press the g/oz button to change units of measure.
- Place an item on the scale in the center of the platform.
TARE (ADD & WEIGH)
Ignore the weight of a container:
- Turn on the scale and place the container on the platform.
- Press the On/Tare/Off button, and zero weight will display.
- Add items into the container to be weighed.
Find the individual weight of multiple items in one container:
- Press On/Tare/Off to reset the scale back to zero weight.
- Add additional items to be weighed.
- Repeat steps 1-2 for additional items.
Reset the scale back to zero weight:
- If nothing is on the scale and it does not read zero weight, press the On/Tare/Off button to reset the scale back to zero weight.
ATTENTION: The scale will tare any amount of weight. Once the total weight actually on the scale reaches the maximum capacity of 13 pounds (6 kg) the overload warning code (EEEE) will display.
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
The scale will turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity to save battery.
OVERRIDE AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
A switch to over-ride the auto shut-off is located inside the battery
compartment.
Turn the switch “ON” to over-ride the auto shut-off feature.
OPTIONAL 9-VOLT WALL ADAPTER AVAILABLE

PROPER USE & CARE
- Use and stow the scale at room temperature.
- This scale is an instrument of precision. Do not submit the scale to shaking, excessive vibration, or other rough treatment; use on a flat, and stable surface.
- The display may be affected by electromagnetic disturbances such as radios, microwaves, or cell phones. If such disturbances occur, remove the source of the disturbance, and restart the scale.
- Disassembling, or tampering with the scale voids the warranty.
- Clean the scale with a damp cloth; do not submerge in liquid; scale is not waterproof.
- For best results, use alkaline batteries.
- Failure to insert batteries in the correct polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment, may shorten the life of the batteries or cause batteries to leak.
- Do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc) or Rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) or (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.
Do not dispose of batteries in fire!
