All the basketball systems, including those used for displays. must be assembled and ballasted according to instructions. Failure to follow instructions could result in serious injury. Please read all warnings and cautions. It is recommended to supervise children as they play with this product. This product is to be assembled by adults only!

Assembly Instructions (ter’

  • Take the tank, backboard, rim and other parts out of the box.

  • Check with help from the parts list if all parts are present.

  • Identify the bottom pole section(T) and fasten the eyebolt(G) with rod(L) to the bottom.
    Photo 2:

  • Insert the wheel axel(K) into the wheel bracket(J) and place the wheels(I) and spacers(H) at each end as shown on photo.
    Photo 3/4:

  • Fasten the bottom pole section(T) and the wheel bracket(J) with wheels(I) to the front tank(Q) with eyebolt set(G).

  • The tank(Q) has a special square shaped hollow space into which the bottom pole section(T) exactly fits.
    Note: Two people recommended for this step. Important! Do not over tighten!
    Photo 5 and 6:

  • Fasten the lower left strut(U) and the lower right strut(V) to the tank(0) with bolt sets(B) and to the bottom pole section(T) with bolt set(E)
    Photo 7 and 8:

  • Fasten the rim(P) and top pole section(R) to the bottom of the backboard(Z) with bolt sets(A). Bolts must be put into the holes from front backboard to back.
    Note: Because both the rim(P) and top pole section(R) must be fastened simultaneously with bolt sets(A) to the bacicboard(Z), we recommend two people for this step.
    PhMo 9. 10 and 11

  • Fasten the top left strut(W), top middle strut(X) and top right strut(Y) to the backboard(Z). Use bolt sets(C) for to fasten the left and right top struts and bolt set(D) for to fasten the middle top strut to the backboard.
    Note: Hand tight only! Note2: The strut-ends with round holes should be connected to the backboard.

  • Now fasten the top struts to the top pole section(R) with bolt set(F). Place the left strut-end over the right strut-end with the middle strut-end on top.
    Note: The strut-ends with the longer oval shaped holes should be connected to the top pole section.

  • Now all bolts can be tightened.

Photol2 and 14:

  • Unscrew the locking screws on the middle pole section(S) and slide the top of the middle pole section(S) over the bottom of the top pole section(R).

  • We recommend sliding the top pole section(R) completely into the middle pole section(S). This makes it easier further on to place the complete assembled top section into the bottom pole section.

  • Tighten the locking screws on the middle pole section(S) to fix the top pole section(R) at its position.
    Note: The poles must be inserted into each other for at least 11cm!
    Photol3 and 14:

  • Unscrew the locking screws of the bottom pole section(T) and slide the middle pole section(S) with the completely assembled top into the bottom pole section(T) until you reach the standstill position.
    Note: Two people recommended for this step.

  • Tighten the locking screws on the bottom pole section.
    Note: The poles must be inserted into each other for at least 11cm! Warning! Do not leave assembled unit unattended when empty. (May tip over!)
    Installin Net:

  • Install net(0) to the rim(P) as shown.

Securing Basketball set:

  • Check if all bolts and nuts have been securely fastened.
  • Place assembled unit to the desired location. Fill the tank with water or sand and put the tank
    cap(AA) in place. Insert T-strap(M) through the slot in back of tank as shown in sketch below. Secure unit to ground by twisting tie down stake(N) into the ground and hooking T-strap(M) onto tie down stake(N) .
    Important: It is not recommended to use the system outdoors in freezing/subzero conditions. We recommend during windy conditions to move unit to shelter.

Height adjustment of backboard:

  • Unscrew the locking screws on the middle pole section(S) and lift or lower the top pole section until the required backboard height has been reached.
  • Tighten the locking screws on the middle pole section(S) to fix the top pole section(R) at it’s position.
    Note: The poles must be inserted into each other for at least 11cm!

POLE CARE AND SYSTEM MAINTENANCE:

The live of your basketball system depends on many variables. The climate, exposure to corrosives such as salt, pesticides or herbicides and excessive use or misuse can all contribute to pole failure, which may cause property damage or personal injury.
Check your basketball system frequently for loose hardware, excessive wear and signs of corrosion. For safety reasons and to prolong the life of your basketball system, you must take the following preventive measures:

  • Check all nuts and bolts.lf any are loose, tighten them.
  • Check all parts for excessive wear and tear.lf necessary, replace any parts that have been worn or damaged through usage. Contact our customer service department for replacement parts.
  • Inspect the warning sticker on the pole. If it is ripped, faded or illegible, call our customer service department to request a replacement sticker.
  • Check all pole sections for visible rust, chipped or cracked paint.lf either are present, do the following:
    1. Use an emery cloth to completely remove any rust or chipped paint.
    2. Clean the area with a damp cloth and allow it to dry.
    3. Apply two coats of a rust preventative, high gloss enamel to the area. Allow the paint to dry between two coats.
