Product Usage Instructions

  • Prior to installation, please read the specifications sheets available for download at www.pro.duravit.us. It is important to inspect the product for any potential damage that may have occurred during transport.
  • Ensure that you have a working knowledge of construction techniques and code compliant plumbing installation. This is a professional grade product and must be installed by a licensed plumber.
  • During installation, it is important to protect the surface of lacquered bathtubs from dents and scratches. Avoid using suction lifters on the inside of lacquered bathtubs to prevent damage to the lacquered surface.
  • Inspect for leaks and ensure that all connections have a watertight seal. Observe the local installation regulations and any country-specific standards to prevent product and/or property damage.
  • If any damage is visible or if you are unsure about the installation process, do not proceed with the installation and consult a professional.
  • Optional accessories, such as the freestanding in-floor bathtub drain, can be purchased separately (not included).

  • Inspect bathtub for any potential damage that may have occurred during transport.
  • Do not install if any damage ist visable.
  • NOTICE: Suction lifters can cause damage to the surface of lacquered bathtubs.
  • Attach suction lifters to the inside of laquered bathtubs to avoid damage to laquered surface.
  • NOTICE: Tilting the bathtub on its side can damage the bathtub.
  • Place cardboard/blanket on the floor.

  • Connect tailpiece to the bathtub drain.
  • For Vero Air/Happy D.2 Plus:  Connect waste and overflow.

  • Ensure floor area is clear and level.
  • Compensate irregularities by adjusting tub feet.
  • Observe the dimensions for the positioning of the drain (see Chapter “Measurements”).
  • Position the installation aids accordingly.

  • Connect bathtub to drain system.
  • Remove installation aids.
  • Slide straps under the bathtub.
  • Fill the bathtub with water.
  • Inspect for potential leaks.

  • NOTICE: Apply silicone recommended for acrylic/mineral cast bathtubs only.
  • Apply 100% silicone sealant around the base of the bathtub.
  • Leave a small area open.
  • Let it sit for 24 h before draining.
