ICom 7R TouchScreen Apartment Monitor Station

ICom 7R TOUCHSCREEN APARTMENT STATION

The ICom 7R is a touchscreen apartment station designed for
Kensington by Mosaic. It serves as an apartment monitor and allows
users to communicate with visitors at the building’s entry
station.

User Instructions

The ICom 7R video monitor provides various functionalities for
answering incoming calls, granting access, and ending calls.

Answering Incoming Calls

  1. The visitor dials the apartment number on the code pad outside
    the building, finishing with the “BELL” symbol.

  2. The video monitor inside the called apartment will emit an
    electronic tone and display a color vision of the calling
    entry.

  3. To answer the call, press the audio hands-free button located
    to the right of the screen.

  4. A two-way communication channel will be established between the
    video monitor and the external entry station.

Granting Access

  1. If you wish to grant the visitor access to the building, press
    the video monitor button with the key symbol located to the right
    of the screen.

  2. By doing so, the door/gate will be released, allowing entry for
    the visitor.

  3. If lift control is available, pressing the key button will also
    enable the lift function.

Ending Calls

To end a conversation:

  1. Press the audio hands-free button on the video monitor.
  2. The video links will automatically time out, terminating the
    call.

MAIN MENU ANSWERING INCOMING CALLS

The visitor dials the apartment number on the code pad outside the building finishing with BELL’ symbol.

The video monitor inside the called apartment sounds an electronic tone and colour vision of the calling entry is displayed. You can answer the call by pressing the audio hands-free button to the right of the screen, and two-way communication is established between the video monitor and the external entry station.

GRANTING ACCESS

If you would like to grant the visitor access to the building, press the video monitor button with the key symbol to the right of the screen, and the door/gate will be released.
If lift control is present, the key button also enables the lift function.

ENDING CALLS

You can end the conversation by pressing the audio hands-free button. The video links will automatically time out.
