SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing Dr. Senst Insect Bite Relief{IH-W03}. To enable you properly operate this product, please thoroughly read this product introduction first and keep the manual well after reading for future reference.
Warnings and safety notes
Contraindications
Do not use the device if you suffer from diabetes. Sensitivity to pain
could, in certain circumstances, be reduced and diabetics may burn themselves.
Do not use the device on people with disabilities, children under 3
years old or people with reduced sensitivity to heat. This includes people
with skin alterations due to illness or scarred tissue in the application
area, after taking pain relief medication, drinking alcohol, or taking drugs.
Do not use the device on acutely or chronically diseased (injured or
irritated) skin (e.g., inflamed skin, whether painful or not, reddened skin,
rashes (e.g., allergies), burns, frostbite, bruises, swellings, both open and
healing wounds, and post-operative scars where the healing process could be
affected).
Do not use the device on sensitive areas of skin.
Do not use the device if you have any sensory impairment that reduces the
feeling of pain (e.g., metabolic disorders).
Do not use the device if you are using lotions, creams, and gels locally
at the same time.
****Do not use the device if you suffer from persistently irritated skin due
to long-term heat application on the same area of skin.
General warnings
Any person using it on themselves must be over 12 years old. The product
should only be used on children under 12 years old if supervised or assisted
by an adult.
Before using the device, consult your doctor if you have any skin
conditions, serious illness (in particular if you have a propensity to
thromboembolic conditions or recurrent malignant growths), unexplained chronic
pain in any part of the body.
Seek medical advice immediately if the symptoms persist despite using the
Dr. Senst Insect Bite Relief and stop using it.

using the Dr. Senst Insect Bite Relief and stop using it.
Seek medical advice immediately if it is a tick bite. The bite may result
in transmission of pathogens such as tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) or
borreliosis.
Seek medical advice immediately if the first signs of increased itching,
skin redness, swelling, dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath, formation of
wheals or a drop or increase in blood pressure occur.
Do not use near to the eyes, on the eyelids, mouth or on mucous
membranes.
Do not allow children to play with the device.
Store the device out of the reach of children and pets.
Keep packaging material away from chi ldren (risk of suffocation).
Please note the general hygiene measures when using the Dr. Senst Insect
Bite Relief
The device is not a substitute for medical consultation and treatment.
Always consult your doctor if you are experiencing any pain or are suffering f
rom an illness.
****If the device does not work properly, or if you fee l unwell or
experience pain, stop using it immediately.
General precautions
Do not touch the device with wet hands. Do not allow water to spray onto
the device. Only operate the device if it is completely dry.
Do not use any detergents or solvents to clean and maintain the device.
If liquid penetrates the device this could cause damage to the electronics or
other device parts and lead to a malfunction.
The device should only be used by one person; use by multiple people is
not recommended.
Protect the device against direct sunlight and store in a dry place.
Protect the device from impacts, moisture, dust, chemicals, marked
temperature fluctuations and nearby sources of heat (ovens, heaters).
Ensure that no water enters the device. If this should happen, remove the
batteries, and only use the device again when it is completely dry.
If you store the device, no heavy objects should be placed on top of it.
Before use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the device or
accessories. In case of any doubt, do not use the device, and contact your
retailer or the specified Customer Service address.
Store the device in a location protected against climatic influences. The
device must be stored in the environmental conditions specified.
Do not leave the device unattended while in use. If the device
malfunctions, switch it off and stop using it.

Indications for use
Intended use
Only use the Dr. Senst Insect Bite Relief to treat insect bites or stings. Dr. Senst Insect Bite Relief is intended to relieve insect bites. The device is reusable and intended for domestical/private use.
Indication/clinical benefits
Many insect bites and stings result in painful and swollen sting and bite marks. These bites/stings often cause severe itching. Itching and swelling can be alleviated by the targeted effect of heat on the affected area.
Content
Check that the exterior of the cardboard de livery packaging is intact and make sure that all contents are present. Before use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the device or accessories and that all packaging material has been removed. In case of any doubt, do not use the device, and contact your retailer or the specified customer service address.

Inserting the batteries
- Push open the battery compartment lid (5).
- Insert the batteries included in delivery into the battery compartment as shown inside the battery compartment. When inserting the batteries, ensure that the correct polarity(+/-) is observed.
- Slide the battery compartment lid (5) closed until you feel and hear it click into place.
Usage
WARNING
Before use, make sure that there is no insect sting remaining in the area that was stung. Remove the sting carefully before use. Use immediately after the insect bite or sting achieves the best results. If you wait too long to treat the area that has been stung or bitten and itching and swelling have already started, Dr. Senst Insect Bite Relief can only have a limited effect. Nevertheless, treat the area with Dr. Senst Insect Bite Relief. Usually, itching can be relieved and healing can be sped up.
- Slide the ON/OFF switch (3) towards the heating plate (4) with the symbol “I” for ON. Device status LED (1) will flash with 1Hz in blue and indicates to you that the device is ready to use.
- You have the option to choose between 2 different application times , de pending on how sensitive your skin is:
- Place the heating plate (4) of the device on the area that has been stung or bitten.
- For a 5-second application, press activation button (2) once. Device status LED (1) in blue will change from flashing to steady ON that the application is starting. “5-second application” is recommended for first use or use on sensitive skin.
- For a 10-second application. press the activation button (2) twice in quick succession . Device status LED (1) will change from Blue to Orange and Device status LED (1) w ill change from flashing to steady ON that the application is starting.”10-second application” is recommended for regular use on normal skin.
- After the end of the application, Device status LED (1) will be changed from steady ON to flashing in blue. massage and heating are automatically stopped . Device status LED (1) will be turned off after 5 minutes.
IMPORTANT
Depending on the sensitivity of the person using the device and of the area of skin, the treatment temperature may feel unpleasant and cause slight skin redness and, in rare cases, irritated skin. If the heat function feels too hot, stop treatment immediately.
- If required, you can use the Dr. Senst Insect Bite Relief on the sting/bite again after a break of 2 minutes or also use it immediately on another sting/bite in a different area. The maximum number of applications per hour on the same treatment area must not be exceeded.
- If the device is no longer required, set it to “OFF” again using the ON/OFF switch (3). This is indicated by the” O” symbol. The blue device status LED (1) turns off.
- Before storing, make sure that the device is switched off and the heating plate (4) has cooled down.
Battery warning
Before the battery level becomes too low for other applications, the device status LED (1) with orange starts to flash 10 times. please replace both batteries soon, as described in section 6.

Cleaning and maintenance
The device is intended for multiple uses.
Observe the following hygiene instructions to avoid health risks:
- It is recommended that the device is cleaned before first use and each additional use.
- The device must be switched off by ON/OFF switch (3)
- Use only soft, dry cloths for cleaning.
- Never use any substances for cleaning that could potentially be toxic if they came into contact with the skin or mucous membranes, or if they were swallowed or inhaled. Do not submerge the device in water.
- When using the device on multiple areas that have been stung and bitten, it is recommended that you clean the heating plate each time. This reduces the possibility of germs and bacteria being transferred from one area of skin to the next. Use a commercially available alcohol disinfection wipe to disinfect the heating plate.
Disposal
Repairing and disposing of the device
- Do not repair or adjust the device yourself. Proper operation can no longer be guaranteed in this case.
- Do not open the device. Fai lure to comply with this instruction will void the warranty.
- Repairs must only be carried out by Customer Services or authorized retailers. Before making a claim, please check the batteries first and replace them if necessary.
- For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its useful life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local col lection or recycling point in your country Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal .

- Batteries must not be disposed of in the household waste. They may contain poisonous heavy meta ls and are subject to special refuse treatment.
- The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful substances.

Dr. Senst Insect Bite Relief (IH-W03) is exclusively for personal purposes in
the context of domestic use. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the
thermometer yourself. If maintenance/repair is required during or after the
warranty period, you must contact the manufacturer. Carefully repack the
product in its original packaging or pack it securely to prevent damage during
shipment. Include the original sales receipt showing the date of purchase, a
note about the problem, and your return address. Send the product prepaid and
insured.
The responsible operator or organization should contact the manufacturer or
manufacturer’s representative:
- for assistance in adjusting, using, or maintaining the instrument, if necessary; or
- to report unexpected behavior during operation or incidents.
The following are explicit ly excluded from warranty:
- deterioration due to normal use or consumption of the product;
- accessories supplied with this product which are worn out or used up through proper use (e.g. batteries);
- products that are used, cleaned, stored or maintained improperly and/or contrary to the provisions of the instructions for use, as well as products that have been opened, repaired or modified by the buyer or by a service center not authorized;

****Safety instructions for batteries
Keep the batteries away from children.
If a battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
In case of contact with battery acid, immediately rinse the affected areas
with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention immediately.
Do not recharge the batteries! There is a danger of explosion !
Do not short-circuit! There is a danger of explosion !
Do not throw into fire! There is a danger of explosion!
Replace batteries when Low Battery Indicator appears on screen. Replace all
batteries at the same time.
Remove batteries from device when not in operation for more than 3 months.
Do not mix new and old batteries simultaneously.
Do not mix battery types. Long-life allkaline batteries are recommended.
Do not insert the batteries with their polarities incorrectly aligned.
Dispose of empty batteries immediately when the battery is empty, as it may
leak.
Dispose batteries properly; observe local laws and regulations.
Do not dispose of used batteries and electronic products the household waste,
but in the special waste or at a battery collection point in the specialized
trade.
Batteries/battery packs can be returned to the retailer free of charge after
use.
