Product Information

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before starting any installation or maintenance work, read and understand all instructions provided in the user manual.
  2. Ensure that the PowerPacTTM B I-LineTM Circuit Breakers are installed, operated, serviced, and maintained only by qualified personnel.
  3. Comply with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines, including NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, NOM 029-STPS, or local equivalent.
  4. Prior to working on or inside the equipment, turn off all power supplying the equipment.
  5. To trip the circuit breaker, either turn it off or use the push-to-trip button.
  6. Before performing any work, use a properly rated voltage sensing device to confirm that the power is off.
  7. Inspect the work area carefully to ensure no tools or objects are left inside the equipment that could cause hazards.
  8. Follow proper procedures for energizing and de-energizing the equipment.

Before Working on Equipment

  1. Turn off all power supplying this equipment before working on or inside equipment.
  2. Turn off or use push-to-trip button to trip circuit breaker.
  3. Use a properly rated voltage sensing device to confirm power is off.

Installation

NOTICE
HAZARD OF EQUIPMENT DAMAGE

  • Do not adjust jaws.
  • Do not remove joint compound.
  • If necessary, use Square D™ joint compound PJC7201.
  • Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.

Circuit Breaker Removal

  1. Turn off all power supplying this equipment before working on or inside equipment.
  2. Turn off or trip circuit breaker before removal. Make sure the circuit breaker is in the open (O) position or in the trip ( ) position.
  3. Use a properly rated voltage sensing device to confirm power is off.
  4. Remove circuit breaker in reverse order of installation.
