This guide includes basic safety guidelines for your Aro Smart Box (“Aro” or “Device”). It also includes additional safety, regulatory, and warranty information about Aro.

Handling
To avoid damaging your Device and accessories and to reduce the risk of personal inJury, discomfort, property damage or other potential hazards, follow the precautions below. Handle your Aro with care. You may damage the device if you disassemble, drop, bend, burn, crush or puncture your device. Do not use a Device with a damaged enclosure. Do not expose your Device to liquids. This can cause a short circuit and overheating. If your Device gets wet, do not attempt to dry it using an external heat source. Keep the Device away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight. If the Device becomes too hot, disconnect it from the power source if it is plugged in, move it to a cooler place and do not use it until it has cooled.
Repair & Service
Do not attempt to repair your Device yourself. Disassembling the device may cause injury or damage to your device. Contact customer service if your Device stops working at https://support.goaro.com.
Powering Your Device
Using damaged cables or power adapters can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the Device or other property. Only power your Device with the included power adapter and cable. Failure to use compatible accessories can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the device. When disconnecting the power adapter, pull on the adapter and not the cable. Do not twist or pinch the cable, and do not force a connector into a port.
Prolonged Heat Exposure
The Device and its power adapter generate heat during normal operation and
comply with applicable surface temperature standards and limits. Avoid
prolonged, direct or indirect. skin contact when the device is in use.
Child Safety
This device is not a toy. Keep the Device’s cords and cables out of the reach of young children and do not allow them to play with the Device or accessories.
Environmental Restrictions
The Aro smart box is designed to operate in a dry, indoor environment. To
prevent damage to the Device, do not use or store in a dusty, smoky, damp, or
dirty environment. Keep away from heat sources and out of direct sunlight. Do
not leave the Device inside a vehicle or in places where the temperature may
exceed 140° F (60° C). This may damage the Device, overheat the Device, or
pose a risk of fire.
Proper Handling and Usage
Adhere to the following guidelines when using, storing, cleaning or disposing of your Device.
Care & Cleaning
Unplug the device and power adapter before cleaning or when unused for extended periods of time. Do not clean your device while it is powered. Avoid solvent and abrasive material that may cause damage to the product surface. Do not use chemical detergent, powder, or other chemical agents to clean the Device.
Exposure to makeup, chemicals, and dyed materials such as denim can stain light colored devices.
To clean the Aro smart box, we recommend gently wiping it with a soft, lint- free cloth. Use a dry cloth to remove streaks, smudges, or dust. To further clean the Device, unplug the Device and mix 1 tsp of liquid laundry detergent into 1-2 cups of water. Do not use products containing bleach, hydrogen peroxide, isopropyl alcohol, or ethyl alcohol. Then, use a lint-free cloth to dip into the solution, wringing out excess liquid. Gently rub the damp cloth for 1-2 minutes on stained areas. Pat with a dry, lint free cloth and wait 30-60 minutes while the fabric dries before plugging in the Device.
Water Resistance
Your Device is not water resistant. Do not expose the Device to liquids. This can cause a short circuit and overheating. The device and its power adapter are not water resistant and should not be exposed to liquids.

FCC Regulatory Compliance
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions. (1} this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation
NOTE:
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more
of the following measures
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Radio Frequency Exposure
This equipment complies with FCC RF Exposure requirements and should be
installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator
and any part of the human body

equipment
Regulatory Information: Canada
This device complies with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standards. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause the undesired operation thereof.
This equipment complies with RSS-1 02 radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment and meets the RSS-1 02 radio frequency (RF) exposure guidelines. This equipment should be installed and operated keeping the radiator at least 20 cm or more away from person’s body
